The television protection plan for the Geek Squad is nice for the price that we purchased it for. If anything happens to the television we are able to get quick results because we purchased the plan for any issues that may occur. With an item that size I think it a great idea to purchase a protection plan.

I think it's good to always purchase extra service and warranty protection for electronics/appliances and I got this one for a steal 2 years plus additional year warranty not bad and happy to have it

Whenever I need help tech support Geek Squad is there to help very knowledgeable and always help me out can't go wrong I recommend getting out from Geek Squad if you can't figure things out

I haven't use the geek squad recently but, in the past they never disappointed me and I'm sure they will not let me down if I needed them again.

Used their tv repair at home service before. They replaced a defective panel on my tv that would have cost me $500 for free. Don't buy warranty from others and hear "do you have the box your tv came in, you have to send it off yourself to repair center, there's nothing we can do, do you have your receipt from a year ago, I don't really know anything I have to get a manager or any other of the poopie you'll probably hear elsewhere.

I had this product since I long time ago and they do a very good and excellent job

Can't really provide an opinion yet, as we have yet to use the warranty. Obviously, the product has to break in order to evaluate the extended warranty service. But hopefully the warranted product will never have to be serviced under the warranty period.

I usually get the geek squad protection whenever I buy anything. I made a mistake one time and didn’t get it and lo and behold. I needed it and I will never purchase anything with a big dollar value without the geek squad protection ever again.

Ive not ever had to use. The technicians are definitely full of great advice. Ready for any challenge given.

I originally purchased an open box item with the Geek Squad protection only to find the excellent condition was not even close with the screen of my television suffering severe damage. After trying to deal with the Geek Squad over the phone and being very frustrated with what I am assuming is an India based phone center, I gave up and took my issue directly to my local Best Buy store where it took some time, but I was eventually told I could receive a replacement television since the damage could not be repaired. Within 24 hours, the Geek Squad came to my home, removed the old TV, installed the new one and was in an out in under 30 minutes. If it weren't for having to deal with an unhelpful call center the rating would be higher, but since I have a local Best Buy to work with, the protection was definitely worth it.

The team we got were amazing. Professional, knowledgeable, patient. They never rushed us and spent time showing us the options and shortcuts. This team has been together and worked for Best Buy for a long time. Definitely recommend this service and will use again when we need to purchase any tvs

Although the 5 year Geek Squad Protection Plan is up front pricey, it delivers as promised. I've replaced 2 TV's due to screen failure and have received full credit towards a replacement. The exchange doesn't occur overnight, but it happens.

I had a 5 year Geek Squad warranty on my Samsung tv which was a good thing since it quit after 4 years. Best Buy sent a Geek out to my house to check it out and he determined that It was best to replace it. So they gave me a number to call and it was fairly easy for them to exchange it. Just be aware that what they replace it with might not be as good as your tv. They gave me a model that was horrible so I had to go to the store and check them out to see which one I liked. The sales guy helped us and we chose a different brand and went home and called the number and they replaced it over the phone and now will deliver it and exchange the other one. So definitely get the warranty. It's so worth it.
