I have been a long-time customer. My tablet was damaged I opened the package and dropped it, screen cracked and the service I received went so smoothly. I glad I had ins. coverage, but your geek squad took care of my purchase. I give them a 4-star rating because there's always room for improvement. When I bought a plasma tv about nine years ago I bought a five year plan because I knew the plasma tvs where going away and couldn't get it repaired. In four years the plasma screen did indeed go on us and Best Buy replaced it with a Sony LED 4K. I bouht a new five year plan and in three years this tv screen had problems. And sure enough this TV was discontinued so they couldn't get parts. So they replaced it with a new Sony TV. So I bought my third five year plan. Worth every penny.

The geek squad plan is amazing if they cannot fix your item they will replace it.

A must have for your tv definitely a good piece of mind.

Any time I have issues with any of my devices to do a warranty on them they always have it taken care of in a timely manor. Will continue to utilize this option with my future purchases

So glad I bought the extended warranty for the Samsung 50in series 8 tv. The warranty I got was for 5yrs. The TV worked great for the past 4 years then the screen didn't show anymore. I called customer service and they replaced it with bigger TV for the same price I paid for the smaller TV of the same brand. Great coverage. Thanks BestBuy.

Purchased for a new Sony TV. Why? My view is the technology has advanced far enough for "fixed location" electronic items, especially TV/Video displays that the manufacturers should include at least 5 year warranty other than accidental damage. They don't. Best Buy through the Geek Squad gives you what manufactures should; extended warranty. Knowing I'm covered for failure of the product and don't have to lug it back to the store is "sleep insurance." Haven't had to use it on the Sony, but a laptop I bought, we south on me under the Geek Squad warranty and the replacement was no hassle. Even got a slightly newer model of the same product (Lenovo) as my model wasn't available. No hassle. I know some have complained about Geek Squad service, but my view is it's a local issue, not one of the program, and I've never had an issue with level of service with my chosen store (I have 3 I can get to in about the same time).

I have to say I was quite satisfied with the service. I brought in a TV that I was experiencing audio and video issues with within the time frame that my geek squad plan allowed. The team at the desk was kind enough to explain the whole process and made mention that it can take up to four weeks for repairs/evaluation of the TV but that it can be as fast as two weeks - I got a response with five days! Sure enough they honored the value of my previous TV model and credit me the value to pursue another television since the model I originally purchased did not exist. I was quite impressed and it was as smooth of an experience I ever had at BB.

5 year service plan awesome price $249 and glad I haven't had to use it

It is alexa comparible, i love that i can control my tv through ghe alexa app, the image is great for watching tv shows, movies and even plauing videogames. Yea youbwill get a much better image with a 120hz or higher tv, but you will also be paying 2-3 times more for a 57 inch tv. Im very happy with this purchase. I bought the warranty for like $30, i have complete peace of mind for the next 4-5 years if anything happens. Cant go wrong!
