    Geek squad is the best. Always very helpful and friendly and eager to get the job done. Sometimes there is a bit of wait time but that is telling me they are busy because they know what they are doing and fix problems.

    Got the 5-year extra warranty for my television I bought from Best Buy. You never know if you will actually need it but its a great peace of mind especially all the great feedback I've seen/heard when their tv takes a crap. They will literally give you back your money or replace it. Thank god I have not needed it yet but electronics do go faulty at times.

    1st Hisense TV so really felt it was the best thing to do with a 2 yr additional warranty. + the price was very fair

    This service is a must have for all of your purchases. There is no haggle-they replace or give you credit immediately. I add it to all of my purchases.

    I truly recommend this protection I always like to buy extra protection for the items that I buy , if you want to be with no worries just get the protection plan.

    This plan is exceptional. I was able to have my Hisense 70AG6 replaced due to the cost to repair would not have been worth it. Definitely worth the extra money spent to protect your investment.

    I purchased a protection plan along with a TV purchase to ensure I had a working and functional TV for at least 5 years. The purchased TV was the high end of the brand at the time and we've enjoyed it. Unfortunately I cannot say the same regarding the protection plan. In my first year, we ran into issues with the TV. It was under manufacturers warranty, so they covered a motherboard replacement. Within a few weeks of the manufacturers warranty ending, ran into more issues with the TV. This is the reason I purchased the protection plan and thought I was covered. It was easy getting someone out to inspect and determine another motherboard replacement was needed. That was during my last week of my remote job. I have since started a new job that's 45mins away. I communicated this and the technician said it wasn't a problem and scheduled a Saturday appointment. The date rolls around and no communication from Best Buy all day. I call and am told no agent was assigned and would escalate my issue. It cascaded downhill more and more from here. I had a total of 5 escalations and >12 interactions with Best Buy customer service via chat, call, and in store. Then I'm finally told by someone at corporate that they don't have Saturday appointments in my area and said I should take PTO. It's a new job that I haven't received any PTO yet, so the rep was basically putting me in position to call out sick and hurt my reputation and employment status with this employer. I ask about options like exchanging or returning for store credit and was told that's not an option because they haven't gotten a chance to fix it. They won't work with you for Saturday appointments. So I've been stuck with a malfunctioning TV for months and am told my only option was to mail a complaint to corporate. I mailed a letter to corporate and still haven't received any type of communication. I've been a long time customer of Best Buy. Very disappointed by this situation and I feel cheated being stuck with a malfunctioning TV. Why would I ever shop at Best Buy again after an experience like this?

    Since the tv was on sale, I bought the protection for a great buy and now can relax if something happens in the next 5 years with my tv. You never know how long something will work but I’m protected if it stops working.

    TV Extended Warranty

    Normally I do not purchase extended warranties, but after a recent storm I had a need to buy a new TV. After listening to everything that this warranty covers I found it to be a good cost effective thing to buy. If I had this on the TV that I had to replace, I would not have had to buy a new TV.

    I bought a tv 8 years ago without a protection plan in it started malfunctioning 1 month after the basic manufacturer warranty expired. Vowed never to get a tv without it after that. Always recommend the warranties now

    Highly recommend signing up for the Geek Squad. Whenever I have tech issues, I can easily contact them and get help over the phone or make an appointment to see someone in person. They really do help you try to resolve computer issues and answers your questions. I also contact Best buy corporate for geek squad help and everyone was so professional and nice.

    I have not had a chance to actually use them but I have heard a lot of great things. I hope that I do not need to use them and this was just for protection but from what I have heard, they are well trained individuals.

    I highly recommend getting Geek Squad protection with any computer purchase, and the two year is better than just the single year, they're great to work with, and you don't have to seek out a computer specialist, and hope they know what they're doing.

    Always get the Geek Squad to back any purchase! I’m a firm believer of extending the warranties from any and all purchases! A small cost to add it now could save you a lot of money down the road!!

    2 year protection is a must have for all products. I have a 3 year old daughter and she spilled orange juice on my Chromebook. Absolutely something that was my fault and typically i wouldn't expect to be refunded or covered here. No questions asked they took in my device, attempted to fix and when they could not I received a full credit a little over a month after dropping it off.

    Always get Geek Squad Protection for new installs

    I always add Geek Squad protection for expensive new products like big flat screen TV installed by Best Buy, but don't let anyone else touch the device or they may not honor the protection plan! (Which is why I put 4 stars instead of 5). Found this out with a TV purchased 2 years ago and installed by a handyman, then when there was a problem Best Buy would not take responsibility for it. So new TV installed by Best Buy and will only let them deal with it from now on! For portable items like laptop computers I also love getting Geek Squad protection as then can bring it right into any Best Buy store for problems.
