I normally stay away from the additional protection services on any products I purchase, but this one really saved my butt. I bought a floor model of a large screen high definition TV. Over time, I noticed thick lines on the screen and discoloration. It was most noticeable when there wasn't much action on the screen and if large areas pf solid colors were displayed. As it turned out, the LED screen was showing remnants of the demo mode screens that would run constantly in the store. The protection plan allowed me to get %100 of my purchase price back, providing it was spent at Best Buy. I ended up getting a new 55" TV.

Hard to beat coverage and ease of use. Come in handy a few times.

Well worth it for certain item levels. Very useful option for peace of mind. Since Samsung doesn't think much of their products and provide a minimal warranty I got this to be safe. My last tv has lasted well but the next one failed in less than 2 yrs. I Showed them the issues and they instantly gave me full credit of purchase price. Too bad they don't consider a sale price when giving credit. I had to pay out a little over $100 to get an exact replacement with the current model since there were no sales at the time.

Excellent value for 5 years of coverage. Best Buy has.all of my electronics needs at a great price.

So we got this after debating several monitor choices for our new PC, and I'm so glad I decided to grab this. It's great for gaming, okay for office work, incredible for watching shows and movies. It's only 42 inches, which is small for me for movies, but the quality is out of this world. I usually go for soundbars/speakers right away but I found the built in speakers to be manageable for now. Love it!

This for us is a no brainer. If your making a big investment the piece of mind geek squad gives you is nice. I bought this exact same tv a couple of years ago with no protection true story and after a couple of months the screen broke. That tv is at the town dump. Anything can happen and no it wasn’t the kids. Life happens. Even after the year a line can come down one side then the other and your out of luck. Then you’ll be wishing you got that protection. So take my inexperience as a reviewer and just get that much needed protection. Hope I helped.

Always get a warranty on all your purchases. I love the Geek Squad. They are always available to assist when the problem goes wrong with your electronics.

The agents here are some of the most helpful computer folks I know. I do wish there was away to better communicating with these guys before I come to the store. If only for a brief 15-20 minutes conversation to see if problem can be resolved before bringing in and leaving with them. I have to have my computer to work and this would be of great help. Perhaps expand hours or have a virtual meetings scheduled all throughout the night. Your workers could choose for overtime or not answer and let some other person within the company say a 1000 miles away that would like the overtime. Make it easier and just ask for volunteers across the country and allow them to work out of there house for the calls that come in after hours. If that fails then I can ask my boss if I can leave it but that’s usually not the case.

I have purchased 3 TV through Best Buy and no longer need Geek Squad to mount or hook up my Items They are very good at hooking up or fixing your Products and with the price of the Geek squad Service I am purchaseing any product that saves me Lots of money

I had to use Gerk squads protection. They made it very easy to replace the AC.

Have not used the protection service yet. I hope I never have too. That's the reason I only gave it 4 stars. I hated even to rate it until I use it if I ever do. I believe there is a time limit on rating it. I do know they did a very nice jog delivering it and installing it.

Get this when you buy! We've had our tv for awhile now, remote stopped working (the dog maaaay have chewed on it) and boom, they're giving us a free remote. Also, since our tv is over a certain size, if anything goes wrong with it, they'll come to our house to fix!

Pretty good price for 5 years of protection. Cant complain

I haven’t had to use the service yet, and only felt I needed it due to the nature of OLED screens. Hopefully if the time comes I need to use it, there won’t be any additional problems.

It’s always good to have protection, especially in any case

Geek squad are always life savers. I highly recommend their service if you’re ever in a bind
