    Purchased my tv with a 5 year warranty. Four years later my tv is having issues with what seems to be the wifi card which was replaced. But 2 weeks later the tv is having issues again and they are unwilling to come and take a look at the tv, blaming my wifi at home. I have other electronics at home that work fine without any issues only the tv is having problems. I have video proof of what the tv is doing but yet they blame my wifi. The tv is turning off the wifi on its own, there is no setting to turn this off. I will not be buying again from best buy, let alone use the geek squad service again.

    I feel the folks at Geek Squad are patient, kind, and professional whether I contact them day or night. Most of the time we get the issue resolved online. There has been only 2 times where they said I needed to bring it in to the store. I believe it has been worth the fee because I live in a rural area and it is a 30 mile drive from my town to my Best Buy store.

    Happy that I purchased he Geek Squad, now a days you can never tell when your appliances will go hey wire and it's always a good to have peace of mind knowing that paying for the extended service will help you if you ever need it. I make it a habit to get the Geek Protection for all my purchases at Best Buy, so far it has been one of the best decisions I have made along with the great purchases I have also made. There is no where else to go for service like Best Buy or selection for what you are looking for.

    Replacement tv - Geek Squad service

    Geek Squad provided great service with my replacement tv but it would not accept my 55" tv at the store. We went through the whole process of replacing my tv when someone from Geek Squad said I would have to take my tv home and have a Geek Squad member evaluate the tv at my house. I actually completed the tv replacement over the phone with no visit needed and received my replacement tv within days.

    My tv had went out after two years and I remembered I had purchased the Geek Squad. They replaced the tv and schedule delivery/pick up and the morning of, I get a voice mail, our guy is sick. I took the old and picked up the new and received a $20 gift card for my troubles.

    Haven’t had too ever use my Geek squad for repairs…however a great value and I feel extremely good knowing they are available for repair or too answer concerns

    I would recommend a Geek sqaud extended warranty. I bought one for my 75” tv. If they can’t fix it , I believe they send you a check for your purchase price. The TV is 85 pounds so it’s not something I want to lug back to the store or to a authorized service center

    Excellent service on time no hassle, Called store they sent repair man out he kept appointments as scheduled... New TV was delivered no questions asked.

    Excellent service, the TV had a problem and they come to your house for any TV over a certain size. The person was clean, polite and neat. They took the back off and could see there was no funny business, don't try and fool these people they know what they are doing. The code came up that the TV was NOT ECONOMICALLY VIABLE TO REPAIR so i was given credit for the amount i paid towards any new TV at Best Buy. Ever since then i get a warranty with everything i purchase at Best Buy.

    My interactions were very limited. My TV broke in a freak lighter throwing accident literally a week after I purchased it. I bought a 2 year protection plan. Now, I understand that I'm to blame, best but wasnt throwing a lighter to his friend .... missing horribly. However, I was told that basically the TV was trash. I was better off throwing it away. There's nothing that could be done and to just buy a new TV. My protection plan was a waste of money imo. Threw the TV away after 5 months since I couldn't find a place to fix it. Overall, I can only blame myself.... but I can also say that my fear of making a large purchase that wasn't insured ended up being a reality even though I was convinced into buying insurance. See what I'm saying?

    I bought a 40"LED TV Westington Brand 4 1/2 yrs ago in Best Buy plus the geek squad protection. About 3 yrs later.... that TV started to have problem, I called Geek told them the problem, and they told me there they would send a tech to my house to fix within 7 days. A tech called me that they ordered a part from the manufacturer, need to wait 7-10 days for the parts. He would contact me once the parts was here. I guess there is a policy stating after certain days If they couldn't fix your product, they will exchange a new one or if the product is out of stock, refund will be offered. I got the refund. But please keep your receipt for the proof.

    Geek Squad Service is a most have with todays products. The peace of mind you get by knowing that for 5 years you have the protection of your investment by a solid group of professionals. I have made some services calls for some of the articles that I have purchased and have had issues and the service that I receive is 5 starts always.
