Haven’t needed the service as of yet…. But they were available for question I came across while mounting my tv

Glad i got this with a tv purchase, bought a dishwasher a few months later and got free install and haul away of old dishwasher They did send a contractod to install it, they put a screw through my counter top

If you’re making a major purchase. Check the manufactures warranty , then consider getting a Geek Squad Warranty. It covers just about everything for a TV. Why buy a Higher end TV and trust that nothing will happen. It might not But what if it does. Is it worth the repair cost? Hopefully I will never need to use it. But if something goes wrong I’m pretty much covered.

Hope to never have to use this on the TV we purchased for the family room

This is a great (refundable) option if you want protection. Bought it for my last TV and when we relocated and left the TV behind, Best Buy prorated my refund and I got a good chunk of change back, so my warranty fee wasn't wasted on something I no longer owned! Great way to go for peace of mind protection.

There is a large central white halo in the middle of the TV screen. I only found out about this AFTER mounting it unfortunately (having adhered to all instructions and precautions very carefully). I am a healthcare worker and have to travel for work a lot so by the time I got back home, unpackaged it and set up the wall mount, it was on day 16th from delivery date (past the 15 day return policy. Very unfair). Extremely disappointed at Sony products. Do NOT buy.

Exellent! So glad I did this. Pros fast, came out and diagnosed within a week, replaced my tv great customer service stateside. WELL worth the cost. Cons call center transferred overseas dropped calls twice after long wait times. Couldnt purchase protection plan over the phone for replacement had to go into Best Buys store to repurchase.

Thnak god for protection because i can get another tv or get it fixed if anything wrong happens to my electronics. I love Best Buy items.

GeekSquad has always been a great additional service offered by BestBuy. One of the reasons I always check BestBuy first!

It's cheaper than most 5-year warranties on the market. I hope I never have to use it so I can't tell you how efficient and good the company will be. But I had a problem with Best buy once before and they fixed it as best as they could. Problem was delivered the wrong TV and they couldn't fix it until the deliverer said it was delivered which took them days.

You never know what could go wrong or when. I invested a substantial amount on my television and certainly hope it lasts as long as my last one which is 16 years old and still works fine. I just wanted some new features. It will likely be a while before I want to upgrade again so if this one fails for any reason, the added protection will help prevent unnecessary costs.

Best Buy has top-notch sales and service. I have not had a problem since I’ve been purchasing everything from TVs to refrigerators to microwave oven. I totally recommend Best Buy

TV was pricy but has a great picture and works just fine. I wanted to hook up RCA stereo jacks from my stereo and this TV would do it by use of the ear phone jack. Many of the new TV's won't let you connect RCA jacks but Sony does! Streaming TV shows and 1080 or better cable look fantastic! The only thing I was disappointed about was it went on sale the day after I was eligible for price match. Literally went on sale the next day that would have saved me $50.00.

I had a five-year plan on my previous TV which went up unexpectedly. It took a couple weeks to have the TV looked at but they found it done. When they issued the replacement they gave me full value towards the new one. I actually upgraded my TV from the 50 inch switch died to a new 55 inch same brand for about 30 bucks!

Make sure you get the protection plus. You will need this if you have little kids.

Always purchase the protection. It’s quick an efficient
