    Fully covered a broken TV

    I usually never get a protection plan, but I randomly agreed to this one. Nearly two years after purchasing a TV, it broke. It took a few weeks to go through the process of replacing the TV, but that's probably more to do with current events than it is Geek Squad support's abilities. I got a full refund and used that money to upgrade the TV. I'm fully satisfied.

    I love the geek squad plan and I always make sure to buy from Best Buy in order to get the plan! Very easy to work with so far. I had a two year warranty on my fancy coffee maker, and when it broke. They literally refunded me right away to purchase another one. I bought this plan for my dishwasher as well, and for my three 70" TVs.

    Not many places will come to your home and repair appliances. The geek squad does. Purchase with best buy and get your moneys worth with this extra benefit.

    This was a five year warranty package that includes damage coverage from a lightning strike, which is what terminated the TV the new purchase replaced. I hope I do not have to use this coverage so I could provide a more thorough rating. I did have a problem with the new TV, but it was within a year of purchase, so Geek Squad protection told me I needed to process my claim through the original manufacturer warranty plan.

    Great protection for my tv for a reasonable price. Best thing is you can bring it in and they will fix it in store or give u a new tv or store credit if they’re not carrying the same model anymore

    I purchase Geek squad protection on just about everything and it has ALWAYS been worth it. It makes everything easier and I always get great service if anything ever happens to my electronics.

    Did not order this set up service. Was informed that this is a much better warranty and that you stick by it as Amazon does not stick by their warranties.

    Get the warranty, it's worth it. So easy and quick! Thanks for the excellent costumer service! Called on a friday, for our tv malfunction, they replaced the very next day!

    We're so happy we purchased Geek Squad coverage. They were easy to schedule, prompt, polite, and very knowledgeable and efficient. We are so inept in anything electronic, but they explained how to use the new TV and music setup in terms we can understand.

    The geek squad technicians that came to my home to service my tv were very good. However, the customer service on the phone, scheduling (a 12 HOUR WINDOW) and the lack of follow through (being told someone will call me back or email me) from the escalation team and never hearing from anyone. And being told that there must be 3 SERVICE CALLS (not including diagnostic ones) in order for them to replace the broken tv) made this a very bad customer service experience.
