Definitely worth it for the five years that I purchased it for just in case something does go wrong

We had to use our 2 year plan. They did pay up to what we paid for the TV but that was a lower amount due to a recent discounted price. Therefore in order to swap out for a "like TV" we would have to pay more! Should be based upon the value of the TV when it was originally listed. If we swapped for the same amount we paid we would wind up with a inferior TV today. So we would up having to pay more to upgrade due to the defective TV in under 2 years.

Give five stars for the warranty but I have not had to use it, yet. Always hear great things about Best Buy warranties.

The agents set up my tv and soundbar. They put in it's proper place and made sure it was working.

Hope to never have to use it. Definitely gives a sense of security if anything happens to the tv.

I bought a LG Oled TV. Best Buy extended warranty is the only one that covers burn in.

This 5 year warranty is overall good due to having the best of best fix our electronics.

Peace of mind insurance. I hope to never have to use it. If I do I hope they deliver as promised. Rating is based on future promises. Seemed realistically positive.

Purchased Geek Squad Protection Plan, sometimes a deciding factor when purchasing item of a greater value. Great people and Team of experts at Best Buy! Not always needed, which is a good thing, but beyond any product's warranty and experiencing problems, they come and repair products on-site and if parts become unavailable, they will replace it with a new product. I can only speak highly of Geek Squad Services.

I normally do not purchase extended protection for my own electronics, but since my purchase was a gift to someone, I wanted to ensure the recipient would not have to spend any money out of HER own pocket on MY gift if any issues arose. I guess you could call it peace-of-mind for both of us.

It's essential to have this protection because you never know if a device will be good or not.
