In light of how much the TV cost itself, the pricing for the 2 yr service protection was worth it; but not any longer. I figure any real problem will likely happen within the 2 years. after that, repairs might not even be worth it as technology moves so fast.

I have always purchased the Geek Squad protection, and Best Buy has promptly honored the service on my computers and TVs.

Bought the TV in 2019. Power board failed and replaced in 2020. With warranty still left in 2024 the TV fails again and they tell me it possibly won’t be covered/will be junked. What’s the purpose of the warranty???

I think this is a great deal. They helped me with fixing my laptop and answering questions I had concerning maintenance. Worth the price.

It was the day before thanksgiving and I turned my tv on and the screen was white. I had only owned it for 13 months. I unplugged it and tried to turn it on and it wouldn’t work. I looked up the number for geek squad and spoke with a really nice person. They replaced my tv for free I just had to repurchase the geek squad for my new tv because it wouldn’t transfer over.

Added the Insurance for $99 , Hopefully I Never Have to Use It !

Seems I always get Geek Squad warranty n never need it but it’s better to get it n hav it n not need it than to not get it n then need it Better to b safe than sorry

This protection plan is priceless to me because it allows me to enjoy my television. I don’t have to worry about if it will die on me like my Samsung did after 4 yrs. I will never buy Samsung again because their quality control on screens and laptops has gone way down. They are in such a rush to bring products to the market, they aren’t testing them properly. This plan will probably never get any use because my Hisense Tv seems to be working as should, but ya never really know. And that’s the great part of it because if it does act up - I’m covered for full five years.

I purchased geek squad protection, had issues with 98" TV I just purchased, they came out, however I could not reproduce the issues I was having, so nothing was fixed at the time. I originally had issues trying to get geek squad to come out, customer service was saying I was not covered, however, they did come to my residence after contacting them a second time.

I had to use Gerk squads protection. They made it very easy to replace the AC.

Got for my TV and haven’t had to use it but it is nice to have peace of mind that if something goes wrong it will be covered

The agents came out and mounted my tv and also connected all my devices, they were very prompt and courteous!

55” TV I purchased was 13 months old when the picture went out but there was sound, called Geek Squad and diagnosed over phone, parts shipped to my apartment and service man was here within a week. TV couldn’t be fixed and a replacement TV was ordered, all this during the Covid-19 virus. No replacement available so received a gift card for a new replacement ... Because of COVID-19 it took just over 5 weeks to get the replacement but understandable

Mounted my TV through heavy brick above my fireplace. Did a great job. No mess very happy would definitely recommend.

OLED TVs are known to occasionally have risk of burn in, so geek squad protection is always a great idea when the warranty is only a year.

I am satisfy with warranty service. Really help me a lot with the gift card as credit.
