    I just bought this Samsung - 55" Class Q80T Series QLED 4K UHD Smart Tizen TV and wanted to feel extra secure so purchased the 5 year warranty plan. Hope I never have to USE it but if so ok I'm ready! From the past experiences I've had with Geek the SQUAD all went well when they came to my home to Calibrate my TV. They took their time and were very thorough.

    Bought my dad a new TV and there was no doubt that I was going to purchase a 2 year protection plan. I have purchased a tv in the past and did not get a protection plan, after my 1 year warranty was up I started to notice screen burn in...needless to say there was nothing I could do about it. Not no more, that will never happen to me again. A MUST HAVE!

    Good price for open box. Nice 42" fire TV. Using it in our RV when traveling. Picture quality is very good and size is not to big for small space.

    I hated my vizio tv but I was on a small budget so I took a chance with this Insignia Tv I love it better than my vizio. I waited a year to see how it works and it is great , picture is great sound is great I can't complain it better then my Vizio tv. A nice buy for me I going to get a 55 inch later this year.

    Purchased for our other tv, same idea as we have young kids and it is not a good day when the living tv gets smashed and you have no warranty/protection plan and end up spending 10x as much if ya buy the plan rather than a whole new tv.

    I bought a TV in 2017 and also purchased a 5 year Geek Squad warranty. I know some people will say warranties usually expire before you need them, but in this case, I was so glad I had it. The old TV suddenly stopped working, Geek Squad sent someone to check it out, it could not be repaired, so they replaced it with a new TV. I purchased another 5 year warranty for this new TV.

    Protection is a must for me for all my TV's and electronics, I've been satisfied in the past anytime I've ever had troubles or needed to use the plan for coverage. Always read your protection plans thoroughly Geek Squad tends to update them year to year.

    I am happy the geek squad protection plan was purchased. This purchase will give me peace of mind in case something happens to the television. Even though the television is new sometimes things happen unexpectedly without warning. So having this will eliminate any uneasiness of this purchase. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

    5 Yr Warranty Protection Is Amazing. Just never know what can ever happen to your appliances when you buy them especially at an Pricey Price. Anything is possible to happen so I went with the 5 yr warranty protection which it’s covered through “Geek Squad Protection”

    Misleading Two-Year Warranty

    I purchased the 2-year Geek Squad Protection Plan thinking it would provide immediate coverage if something went wrong with my new TV. Unfortunately, that’s not the case. What they don’t tell you upfront is that if your product is still under the manufacturer’s warranty, Geek Squad won’t help you, they’ll just refer you back to the manufacturer. That means you’re really only getting about one year of coverage, not two, because Geek Squad won’t step in until the manufacturer’s warranty expires. To make things even more frustrating, if your TV is wall-mounted, Best Buy won’t unmount it for you unless you pay an additional $150 or hire someone else to do it before they’ll even assist you. So, even though you pay extra for “full protection,” it doesn’t actually feel like full protection at all. This experience feels misleading and like false advertising. When you buy a 2-year protection plan, you expect help anytime during those two years, not to be bounced between companies or charged extra just to start the replacement process. Customers deserve better transparency about what this plan actually covers and when it applies.

    Peace of mind in case a product becomes a lemon. Anything man made eventually crumbles. Protection plan are a must. Helps save money when you need to get a replacement or fix on an expensive product.
