    geek squad protection is great to have espcially for a quality product. 5 year will comfort me in knowing that im covered. its great to have. hopefully wont need it but you never know.

    So i brought this television because my other one broke and i always been a fan of Samsung. The quality of this tv is A1 just so clear and well worth the money. I highly recommend it.

    Haven’t had to use this yet and the tv is holding up just fine. But it’s in a young child’s room so the cost for peace of mind that whatever is broken can be fixed makes the value worth it.

    I've had no issues with my Sony 4K TV I purchased this warranty for but I know and heard that Best Buy does have great quality customer service if something goes wrong with your purchase and it can be easily returned and exchanged for the same product or similar product.

    Worth the added cost

    So worth the added investment I am replacing a 65" TV that was previously covered by an extended warranty,I normally never buy them but luckily I did. The TV picture started to fail and after 4 years it was still covered under the extended warranty although I admit the process took time they reimbursed me for the original full purchase price.

    Geek Squad Protection Plan

    Fortunately, haven't had to use it yet. But with prior experience with another product... It was a bit inconvenient to have to set up an appointment in order just to drop off and pickup for service. (This prior to Covid). And what happened to be wrong with product wasn't covered under the plan. It was a bit deceptive in what it covered when purchased. I was under the impression that if anything went wrong with product, it would be corrected. You need to pay attention to fine print, to amount of time of warranty and to specifications of what will be covered. Ended up costing me additional money to get repaired. In this instance, not worth the coverage price. Yet, on the purchase of a different product... it was repaired 3x's. Again with the appointments for pickup and drop off. (Prior to Covid) Finally, was replaced with a comperable item. The one I had purchased had been discontinued. In this case, the plan was worth it, minus the inconvenience of picking up and dropping off by appointment. It was just strange that they wouldn't discuss anything with you about problems with product without an appointment. So it basically comes down to what you're purchasing, cost of products and cost of replacing them, as to whether or not price of additional warranty is worth it.

    I was standing over at the oled TV's and the guy who worked there asked me if I was thinking about buying one and I said yes! So he ask me to look at something he had on sale and it was a B7 55" lg oled tv! He showed me the price and my jaw dropped when I saw the price "699" and I said yes I will take it And I purchased this warranty and I am very happy with my purchase because this tv is great!

    I understand that the consensus is never to buy an extended warranty but, like every other insurance policy you will buy in your life, you'll pay and hope you never have to use it. Depending on item bought, I just consider the cost of the 'protection' as part of the item's cost. IF something goes wrong, there is no chance in he!! I can pick up a 77" TV, put it in my car and get it to the Geek Squad for diagnosis and service.

    Love the peace of mind that comes with Geek Squad. We always add it to purchases that we make that we know will be used daily incase something happens.

    Great value for extra protection

    We purchased a new Samsung television but wanted the extra protection beyond the manufacturer's warranty. The cost was a no brainer given the amount of things it covered. With options of three and five year coverage, we ultimately went with the five year. The cost difference was minimal making the five year the better deal.

    Was looking into buying a TV through Samsung as there protection plan and other offers seemed pretty good, but then looked through Best Buy and the offers with Geek Squad protection seemed just a few points better money and protection-wise. Geek Squad does a good job of servicing any needs or issues.

    Just before my Best Buy warranty expired I needed service. I am very satisfied in how simple Best Buy made using their extended warranty when I needed it.

    We purchased the protection plan at the recommendation of the salesman at Best Buy. We were purchasing a new Samsung SMART 3D 4K TV and he thought we should have it for our peace of mind. We have problems with our power going out when it gets windy, and we were told that power flickering and power outages can potentially damage TVs. We opted to purchase the protection plan so we could feel better about our large investment in our new TV.

    honestly, geek squad protection is one of the best i’ve ever used. they are always such nice people to talk to and they always find a solution for your problem!
