This was protection for an Open Box TV. I have already reviewed that TV as excellent and the warranty was not needed. I cannot say I would recommend the service since I did not need to use it but if you are purchasing an open box I guess, like me, you may wish to buy the warranty as it still was cheaper than the full price of a new set.

We would never buy a TV without a protection plan. On a previous TV we bought years ago, it came in handy. It wasn't able to be fixed and the plan let us replace it with a new TV. All we had to pay was the difference between the two TVs and a new protection plan. Was well worth the extra money for us for that situation

I almost always buy buy the Geek Squad protection plan for any TV or computer purchase. We recently had a bad power surge that knocked out several of our TVs. One TV was still under the 5 yr warranty. I took the TV in, they sent it to be checked out. Best Buy ended up replacing my 4 1/2 year old TV with a brand new one, that ended up being an upgrade from what I had. Well worth the money in this case.

Love the geek squad. The 2 gentlemen sent up all my electronics in a timely manner and moved everything for us. They were both congenital and informative. They also answered all my questions. It was so much easier to have all my new electronics set up because there was so many wires. I highly recommend geek squad.

Agents set up my new tv. However, it was frustrating getting them to come to my house. Miscommunications happened several times. But, overall, techs were very knowledgeable and helpful with my questions.

I always buy the protection when spending nearly 2000 on a tv. Bought the KS9500 and within the first 6 months, the screen displayed a line of dead pixels! Glad I had the protection.

I liked the TV in the beginning loved I had all the apps that my kids could use to watch shows but not the Volume no longer works, and I am hoping it is just a minor issue and the sound will come on.

We got this sound bar because our tv sound was not enough. We got the 5.0 to amplify the sound. Was presently surprised when we discovered that this sound bar was full range with amazing bass.

Really a must have for any device that you have. Recommended.

If you buy anything from bestbuy, make sure you Geeek squad ! They are amazing people, and they will fix anything you have. I have not had any problem with my Geek Squad.

The warranty is well worth it they honored my last extended warranty as promised. You never know when you will need it.

I feel that when you spend over $300 on a tv you should buy an extended warranty! It’s better to be covered in the event something goes wrong! I like that it will be serviced in my home because of the size of the TV! So for 5 years I can be reassured that I can have my tv for years to come!

The geek squad was on the phone trouble shooting what was wrong with our first TV. With his help he discovered that the first set had a problem with the picture elements.
