If you are buying any type of electronic you should also be protecting your investment with a protection plan! Electronics are electronics and stuff can go wrong and if you have protection, you have NO worries in the world on your investment!

Laborious process to get anything done. Takes a LONG time to have anyone come fix or check items.

Are you really going to consider not getting the protection plan? Geek Squad is great and this plan gives the peace of mind of knowing that your purchase is protected outside of the flimsy manufacturer warranty that requires so much hoop jumping to get validated! Come on, for the price, it is a foolish thing to not purchase it.

With having two kids, who broke my last TV, it was a no brainer to go with the 5 year warranty! This will be the last TV I have to purchase for a long time, so I wanted to make sure nothing happens to it in the next 5 years!

Outstanding service contract. The price was right and the coverage is great. It gives me peace of mind to know that my electronics are covered by a great contract. One might take a chance and go without the contract, but, i'd rather be safe than sorry.

I honestly don't know how good their service is. I have heard good things, though. I bought extended protection in case something goes wrong with my TV, so hooefully it is good. I honestly hope i dont have to use it, lol.

The 5 year protection plan was offered and honored without any problems in an expeditious manner.

This product is some great stuff although I don’t necessarily like to shop at Best Buy there are when you really want to get a good deal and you can’t finance anywhere else for the same price as far as washing machines/drawers go they are terrible

Geek Squad protection is always a plus. Had an incident from the past. A defect appeared months after ownership-Item was replaced with no hassle. It is a pleasure doing business with a company that stands behind what they sell!

The protection plan seemed like the thing to get especially after the price of the tv. I recommend getting the 2 year protection plan. I've read reviews saying that after about 2 months the tv goes out. hasn't happened to me but still its a precaution.

Overall satisfied by return and replacement. However, telephone communication regarding whether warranty would transfer to replacement and help set up when delivered was was very poor. What we were told over the phone and in the writing on the email confirmations was misleading at best. Be very sure you understand 5,year warty does NOT trnsfer to replacement TV even if 4 years were remaining on contract. And unless original set was set up by Geek Squad, they drop the box off and leave. 75” set is hard to hand for two people in 65-75 year old range. Get the correct answers in advance!!! Would still recommend Geek Squad, but watch your back.
