The Agents brought my tv to the car and recommended the 5 yr service plan for the tv at $299, I know it sounds like a lot but it’s worth it as the will replace the tv at full value with a newer version if necessary.

Especially after reading other reviews on this tv and considering the great price, the cost of Geek Squad was minimal and provides peace of mind.

Why would you buy a $1200 TV and not put a coverage on it is the real question. I’ve been purchasing Best Buy service plans for years I’ve exercised some others I never had to redeem, they are well worth it.

Added the protection while purchasing new tv. Hopefully will not be needed. Have had bad experiences with 2 tvs in the past 5 years, thus the added protection.

I have been very pleased wth the protection plan I've purchased for every product I've purchased. Two tvs, two wireless speaker, refrigerator have all been replaced or credited to a gift card. The refund to the gift cards is what I didn't like, hence the four stars. I wish they would refund the credit card!

due to the impending circumstances that happen on a daily life - it is always good to be safe - I have had issues in the past and if it was not for me having this extra protection - I would be in sad shape - I always get the protection even if I keep the item for 10 years - it may happen down the line
