Haven't used it so far but it gives a peace of mind if at all anything had to happen for the tv and there is no support. I guess its a good value for money and for the product it supports

I purchased the longest amount of time (5 yr) because it is just good insurance. I only wish it covered accidental failure, like you can get on other types of equipment.
