    Great service, my TV had issues with the network card and picture display. The representative helped me to resolve the issue immediately. Now recommend geek squad to everyone.

    Inexpensive "insurance"

    Purchased for a new Sony TV. Why? My view is the technology has advanced far enough for "fixed location" electronic items, especially TV/Video displays that the manufacturers should include at least 5 year warranty other than accidental damage. They don't. Best Buy through the Geek Squad gives you what manufactures should; extended warranty. Knowing I'm covered for failure of the product and don't have to lug it back to the store is "sleep insurance." Haven't had to use it on the Sony, but a laptop I bought, we south on me under the Geek Squad warranty and the replacement was no hassle. Even got a slightly newer model of the same product (Lenovo) as my model wasn't available. No hassle. I know some have complained about Geek Squad service, but my view is it's a local issue, not one of the program, and I've never had an issue with level of service with my chosen store (I have 3 I can get to in about the same time).

    If you buy a television from Best Buy trust me the Geek squad warranty is a must! You never know when something could go wrong and if you have this warranty you’ll be glad you did!

    Well worth it for certain item levels. Very useful option for peace of mind. Since Samsung doesn't think much of their products and provide a minimal warranty I got this to be safe. My last tv has lasted well but the next one failed in less than 2 yrs. I Showed them the issues and they instantly gave me full credit of purchase price. Too bad they don't consider a sale price when giving credit. I had to pay out a little over $100 to get an exact replacement with the current model since there were no sales at the time.

    I live near the Best Buy in Aventura area. Note: for the most part I do all of my electronics purchase from the aventura store. I happened to be near the Best Buy in Hialeah so we stopped by and purchase a Sony tv from them Along with a extended warranty one year to the date it broke, I then call the geeks They came out six or seven times they were unavailable to fix the problem. So the geek called the aventura store since it’s only a few minutes away to see if they would help on the exchange and aventura Best Buy declined to do anything about this issue. Then they called the Hialeah store and spoke to the manager Hector and he accept to take the tv back with no Additional charge to me. All of this has taken 5 months to be resolved, I believe that I purchase the tv at Best Buy and the Best Buy at aventura Should have looked at it more clearly. Best Buy in Aventura lost a customer and Best Buy in Hialeah has gain one&

    This for us is a no brainer. If your making a big investment the piece of mind geek squad gives you is nice. I bought this exact same tv a couple of years ago with no protection true story and after a couple of months the screen broke. That tv is at the town dump. Anything can happen and no it wasn’t the kids. Life happens. Even after the year a line can come down one side then the other and your out of luck. Then you’ll be wishing you got that protection. So take my inexperience as a reviewer and just get that much needed protection. Hope I helped.
