5 Yr Warranty Protection Is Amazing. Just never know what can ever happen to your appliances when you buy them especially at an Pricey Price. Anything is possible to happen so I went with the 5 yr warranty protection which it’s covered through “Geek Squad Protection”

U purchased the Geek squad 2 year.to cover my 100" tv. An asset has to have protection.

Everyone should get the 2 year geek squad protection for any television that they purchase from Best Buy, because you got that extra protection if something goes terrible wrong like the television screen goes totally blurry or if the television screen stops working all together! Just having that extra protection is definetly worth the extra money, so that you are protected, and don't have to throw away your television into the trash can! Everyone should be protected! Listen, I won't buy anything electronic without some assurance I'm going to have an exit strategy for when it goes kaput. Geek Squad by far has the best plan in the industry and has saved me from having to shell out major dollars more times than I can count on one hand. Its always straight-forward. You call, tech comes out and assesses the issue. They fix it or replace it... PERIOD!

I purchased geek squad protection for a previously purchased TV which quit working 2 weeks before the coverage period ended. I was given a full refund with no hassle at all. I recommend paying for the extra protection for any large purchases.

If you can afford the 5 year Plan on a TV, I highly recommend it. We had purchased a high end SONY a number of years ago. The screen failed approximately 4.5 years into a 5 year contract. Since Best Buy/Geek Squad could not replace the part needed since it was no longer available, we received full reimbursement for the SONY which basically paid for a new TV.

Haven't had to use it for current TV, but used them on past TV and they were fast to come out and troubleshoot and since they couldn't fix it, I received a replacement

The previous TV was under extended warranty, that really saved us. Highly recommend buying the extended warranty, lightning or electrical surge protection well worth it. We have a High dollar surge protector, it DID NOT prevent or protect or TV.
