Great plan for new TV. The price is good for 5 years.

I got the 42” to use as a PC monitor and its been excellent. Blows away every other monitor I’ve used in the past and the added versatility is a nice value add. I’ve had no problem with the auto adjusting brightness limiter and don’t mind having to turn the TV on first (as opposed to how monitors will just wake from sleep), but YMMV.

Every time I buy a big item I buy it with the 5-year protection plan I haven't regretted it yet Best buy has honor the deal and I protected my family

Get one. Had a Sharp TV several years ago. It started to die about 2 months before my extended warranty expired. Best Buy sent a technician to my home and when he found that he couldn't replace a defective part, BB refunded my original purchase price and even prorated what was left on the warranty.

My son's tv went blank a year after purchasing it. I bought the 5 year warranty for the tv. I called geek squad and they told me that tv was not in stock. So they upgraded me to the next best tv available. Three days later the tv was delivered and they took the old tv back with them. Service was on point.

1000 % necessary on any and all devices through Best Buy always and I mean always under no circumstances could you ever go without purchasing one of these perfect warranties with zero deductible and from how it was explained to me hopefully Best Buy ensures everything from car home medical and life insurance soon your other Best Buy is to buy a bunch of Best Buy stock immediately no matter what the market looks like right now such as I've done last year it's just as good as Tesla and we'll get even better in the years to come

My original purchase was on a ROKU tv, which i opted out of protection About 6 weeks later my BRAND NEW tv screen went all scrambled. i panicked being out of the 30 day return window. However when i called the store the gentleman gave me no hassle and allowed me to return TV. While there he talked me and my boyfriend in to buying a better bigger tv. he informed us of all the benifits that come along with the protection plan so we purchased that as well. so far have not had to use on the new TV but nice having peice of mind if anything goes wrong

Went in to replace my tv that went Black Death screen and the process was easy to do, even bought a 2 year warranty

After doing research on televisions we purchased a LG 55 inch. Brought it back the next day, no hassle return too, because it was just too big for our small living room and the sound was not great either. We exchanged it for a 48 inch Sony Bravia TV. That was the best move we could have made. The picture is crisp, the sound is incredible from the built in speakers, much better than the LG, and it is a SMART TV also. Price was right too. I have to say also that the salesman who helped us was tremendous. Very knowledgeable and courteous. It's nice when you can get answers to questions you don't know to ask. We have never been fans of Best Buy, but I believe this whole experience turned us around. They really know their stuff. Thank You.....

You can never go wrong with extra protection. Especially when it comes with zero parts or labor charges. And you can go into any Best Buy to make a claim.

I had this protection service on my former LG TV that failed after 3 years of use. The Best Buy customer service personnel assisted me efficiently and effectively with guiding me through the process of selecting a TV and setting up delivery for my new replacement TV.

I love the geek squad protection if there’s ever any issues you bring it they fix it or replace it

I have had geek squad in the past and they fixed a TV for me after 3 years I had a great experiencein the past and purchased a five year plan with my new 85 in TV

Often and I add geek squad protection to my products. It does add another layer of comfort, knowing that I’m protected for additional length of time. Thank you Best Buy for offering this.

I think it's important to get the protection plan. The first time I used it was for my dyson cordless vacuum. I got a completely new one because it could not be fixed in the store. But of course for the new one you would have to purchase a new protection plan. I've also purchased it for a TV but since it was my son who threw something at the TV (accidentally) and the screen looked chatterd it definitely was not covered. All I could get back was the protection plan money because it was still under the year I purchased it on.

the process was straight forward, my only complaint was that it was required by bestbuy to have ppl come out to my house to retrieve my broken tv and deliver the new one. I was more than happy to take it back to the store myself and swap it same day, but bc of bestbuy policy, I had to go 2 days without a tv.
