    We love the geek squad. I always recommend getting a protection plan even if you don’t/won’t use it! It is worth it! I will not buy another large item without a protection plan. Geek squad is nice and very quick with what they do.

    I purchased this protection on my Roku tv in case it should quit working properly like my last tv did when I hadn't even had it 6 months. I had the protection plan on it also so it covered the cost of my new tv.

    I always add Geek Squad protection to my Bestbuy purchases over $150 that I expect to last me 2+ years. I have been a Bestbuy customer for many years, and got to meet a few of Geek Squad teams at different branches of the store. They're knowledgeable, experienced, and professional.

    This worked for me on the last tv I bought. Had it for about 4+ years and then screen went blank. Best buy was going to send tv off and have it fixed, but the tv was so cheap, they gave me my money back, less cost of protection plan. Since they do not sell the model I returned.

    Agent or nice and did a great job they bring it up to the stairs and left it on the front stairs and I had to bring it in but they still did a good job thank you

    I had an e pensive tv go out after 2 years and had no protection insurance. I just purchased a 75” Sony and won’t let that happen again! I have covered this investment for 5 years! I have had Geek squad on my computers for years and have been well pleased. I have faith they will repair or replace my tv if a problem occurs after the original first year warranty

    LG 65” OLED 5 year extended warranty for $300 when TV cost $1333 on sale and geek squad installed for $200. Great service guys installation with two Apple TVs also on sale

    For higher price items I've always bought extended warranties from BEST BUY. They have great customer service and and support with these warranties if you ever have an issue during the warranty period you purchase....

    I hesitate to purchase any insurance or services since I never use them. I have used this. I purchased two computers and they came to my house and transferred all my programs/documents and set up the screen the way I wanted. Since then I have called for help with an app and was helped over the phone.

    bought 65" insignia 4k tv in july - hdmi ports (all 3) failed in mid november - purchased 4 year geek squad svc contract - contacted geek squad service - 4 separate chat sessions, and 1 telephone call later, they have yet to have the repair person come to my home to put a new motherboard in my tv - it is not even scheduled!! on the telephone call this morning, their rep said they did not even have a repair person in this area (syracuse, ny), to service tv's. they took my money for the contract but can't even provide the service!! buyers beware of this tactic - service is not part of their dna!!!

    @BestBuy @BestBuySupport I am going through a nightmare customer service at Geek Squad Scranton 959 Viewmont Dr Dickson City, PA 18519 I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with my recent experience with Best Buy's Geek Squad installation service. I purchased a Samsung 75” Class LS03D The Frame Series QLED 4K TV with Anti-Reflection and Slim Fit Wall Mount Included on August 17th, 2024. I scheduled a Geek Squad appointment for TV setup and mounting on August 23rd. During this appointment, the technicians suggested that I hide all the cables, including those from the TV and soundbar. I agreed and rescheduled for August 28th. To my dismay, the team that arrived on August 28th had no idea how to mount the Frame TV. They suggested using the old mount from my previous TV, which was completely against the purpose of purchasing the Frame TV. The team left without mounting the TV and instructed me to reschedule the installation service. I called Geek Squad and spoke with Andy, who informed me that the system was not updated and that I would need to wait 24 hours before calling back to schedule. I followed their instructions, only to be told the same thing again. After waiting an additional 24 hours and calling Geek Squad again, I was informed that the system still had not been updated and that I would need to wait another 24 hours. As a customer who has been waiting for my TV since August 17th, I am extremely frustrated and disappointed. It is unacceptable that I have to repeatedly call Geek Squad and beg for them to schedule a service that they have already botched. Their lack of efficiency, knowledge, and customer service is truly appalling. I urge Best Buy to take immediate action to address this issue. I expect a resolution that includes a prompt and correct installation of my TV, as well as compensation for the inconvenience and frustration I have experienced. Just to add into the story I spoke to the manager they reach out to me through DM chat when I posted the same concern over social media.. but again told me to wait for another 24 hours telling me they "escalated" just to tell you whenever they tell you they are escalating means they are going to add 24 hours with every escalation but they will not fix your problem just give you another 24 hours. they are flying pigeons to get across internal communication to resolve any issue. run for your life when the representative tell we are escalating Sir.
