I know, I know. "these plans are for suckers" All I have to say is that with out the plan on my old unit Id be shelling out $1000+ to buy a new one. All i had to do was call Geek Squad and they sent someone out to fix it. A week later they said they couldn't get the part and and told me to go into the store and pick out a new one. very easy process

I have this protection plan on every device we have in the house and it’s a great investment especially if you have children.

Great quality on this tv for a good price. Good size if going with 55”.

Crucial for any large purchase a Best buy. Always worth it to put protection on your item.

We depend on the Geek Squad to help us when we have issues we cannot resolve on our own. Having the Service gives us peace of mind and the squad members are always courteous, respectful, knowledgeable, and available.

I purchased a 40" Sony with extended warranty. At about month 14, std warranty ended at month 12, I suffered a lightning strike that took out my TV. I brought it in to Best Buy, they shipped it off for analysis and they gave me a full credit. I used that credit plus some cash to purchase a new Sony 65" XBR 4k TV. Awesome pic.

I think this is the best warranty service that you have.

There is no other store that provides the same protection as Geek Squad. I get it on everything I buy! They make it so simple, and if I ever have a problem, I feel safe. I have had to replace 2 different items in the past year. With other stores, i feel like I am being interrogated. Not at Best Buy. Here's the problem, here's the replacement. Done!

I like the five year warranty my TV went bad and they're going to exchange it with no problems

Any time of purchase big ticket items , I always purchase a warranty it’s better to be safe than sorry. You just never know when the device you purchased made malfunction. Things are just not built the same way

Unfortunately, I have taken advantage of these TV Warranties several times, even to the point that I received 2 NEW / REPLACEMENT TVs and would have been out a lot of money for the replacements and work if I had NOT PURCHASED these warranties! The up front price may seem high at the time but most likely would be less that the first service call!

I love Geek Squad! Always a fantastic deal for the cost. They are always so nice and helpful. A must buy for me when I purchase new equipment.

Purchased the 5 year warranty since so many electronics don’t have a long life span. It’s inexpensive and hopefully we never need it, but we have the peace of mind.

Always always always get protection plan. I have kids and every time I have skipped it it's been damaged by my kids within a week.

Extended warranty works with BB. Fulfilled their obligation to replace or repair towards the end of purchased warranty.

When I bought a new 55" TV I got this 5 year protection plan because it was offered at a good price (and included delivery and setup) and because my 2011 TV (same price range TV) went out after only 4 years..and on which I did not have a protection plan. So far I have not had to use my protection plan but better to be safe than sorry.

The warranty is a great comfort regarding both of these issues: We live quite a ways away and our summers are hot.

After moving I needed tv mounted instead of sitting on a cabinet. The service was told to me to be covered under my geek squad warranty but then a tech showed up to “repair” my tv. He then got the mounting service rescheduled a few days later. Although there was some difficulty caused by miscommunication w/Best Buy Customer Service, tv was mounted.
