But I hope to have no issues when the need arises. I read prior reviews before my purchase which stated they were given a hard time because they didn't have the original packaging. So because of that warning I have stored my packing away along with my original receipt. You can never be too careful....

I don't usually add this type of insurance, but for an open box TV, it seemed reasonable. I would recommend this to someone who also got an open box or a refurbished TV to be on the safe side!

It is wonderful when you need it. Never get the Geek Squad warranty on a cell phone if you have trouble they only do factory reset. Unless you break it. Everything else Geek Squad is the only way to go.
