purchased this for my TCL tv. Have not used but I have incase anything should happen in the next 5 years.

My girlfriend and I purchased the Vizio 50" M50-D1 Smartcast without knowing exactly what to expect because that model was in between the ones on display at the time. Let me tell you though, that i was blown away by this TV! We hadn't even realized until unboxing it that it came with it's own tablet/controller, which is a cool bonus feature. This 4K TV far exceeded all of my expectations, looking as crisp and vibrant as some of the much more expensive competitors on the market. For the price, you absolutely can't go wrong!!

It's a must buy when I purchase any TV. If anything goes wrong best buy will either fix the item or any issues associated with the TV. Insurance gives me peace of mind that I am covered for any cracks, TV damage, power source damage if TV will not start, anything really.. It saves me from worrying.

Peace of mind is priceless but I got xtended warranty at a great price

We stay in Florida and our house was built before the 1970s, so no 3 wire electrical. Everytime we have a T-storm something is bound to get hit. Even with surge protectors and battery backups on all the expensive TV's and devices. So paying the extra for geek squad protection is a must have and a no brainer.

After wandering the Internet for a few weeks looking for the best option for a TV, I came across this unit. I was concerned after calling Samsung and them telling me that it did not support Plex. I went into the local store and was looking at another system and while talking with the guy about the TV I came in for he brought my attention back to this one. I explained that I called Samsung about the Plex issue, but he was certain that it supported Plex. So we got the one on the internet and after a quick update it loaded up Plex... I couldnt have been happier!

I purchased an Insignia TV and less than 2 months the TV broke. I took it back, no questions asked just gave me the credit for the purchase. Now I did not get credit for the 5 year warranty but it was ok since there were no questions asked and credit given for a new tv. Best Buy has the best Geek Squad warranties you could ask for

Great value if you can’t afford to replace the tv. I’ve never had to use geek squad. The policy goes into effect after one year of purchase. Sometimes dealing with Sony or lg isn’t the best experience. Depending on how big your tv is you might value the in home service.

Usually I stay away from warranties; however, Geek Squad warranties are the exception. Highly recommend spending the coin if you are buying something expensive.

I highly recommend adding a protection plan to your purchase. Even a quality product may have a catastrophic failure. We lost our 2-year-old refrigerator when severe thunderstorms hit the power grid. Best Buy replaced the refrigerator and compensated for food spoilage. The protection plans are worth every penny.

I am hoping this Geek Squad Protection is a lot better than Allstate's. It wouldn't take much to be better than Allstate. I like that the Geek Squad is part of Best Buy and not some corporate insurance company that is far away and difficult to contact. With the Geed Squad I can go right to the store and start the process with actual human beings.

When I bought my first television from Best Buy, I purchased the geek squad protection. Thankfully, I did, as my television had problems. Upon examination of the product, I was able to get a new television under the protection. Best Buy was very helpful and honored the protection purchased by me for the television. It was a positive experience. I have since bought many more different products and always purchase the geek squad protection. It is well worth the extra money to have peace of mind. They are the best!!

Worth it to get for insuring your more expensive purchases. Every time I ever had an issue with one of my electronics geek squad was incredibly helpful and fixed the problem.

No worries about future problems even with furniture.

The geek squad know what they are doing and getting the extra protection plan is highly recommended in my book. I was working on my laptop on day, leaned over to grab something and it dropped out of my lap. The screen cracked on it, fortunately we purchased this extra layer of protection, took the laptop to the store and they fixed it right up. Great customer service.
