    Geek Squad service for my HDTV has been excellent in the past has a 70 Inch that went bad and could not be repaired cause the part was not available, So had to get another 70 inch Replacement from Bestbuy and it went well plus the extended warranty was great help.

    Great TV at a great price. Picture excellent and sound quality good. Easy to setup. Took out the 5 year maintenance agreement which I have had on previous TVs from Best Buy and it has worked great replacing TV if unable to fix. Well worth the money.

    5-Year Standard Geek Squad Protection for my TV

    I got the 5-Year Standard Geek Squad Protection because the protection that comes with being a member doesn't cover parts and it's an expensive top-of-the-line TV. I've purchased this before with my older TV and needed to be fixed before the 5 years were up. They sent someone to make sure it was broken, and within an hour, got a credit for a new TV. Best deal ever if you're buying an expensive TV. Futureproof!

    I have received top-quality service from the Geek Squad for my two computers this past year. The Geeks are competent, readily available, and very patient and kind! They work with all ages and levels of competence. I am 91 years old, and my Best Buy Premium Yearly Membership (approx. $179.99) is one of the best investments I made!

    I was able to purchase my protection the very next day. I don’t know why I didn’t buy it at the same time. However, finding out I could buy it the next day really made me happy so in case you forget, you’re not it’s not too late. It was super easy. They even did it over the phone. Spoke to a human being process was very easy.

    The TV isn't bad at all. I've had it since 2018. The only issue is the top of the TV is now separating at the top seam. Not sure why though but it's outside of my 5 year warranty.

    I personally have not used the protection but what I do know is that they fix it there I love that because I know I can get it within a week instead of waiting for a new tv like other retailers have and there is no hassle

    If you buy an electronic item over $500, always buy this protection plan. I purchased it with a TV and unfortunately had to use it but it works perfectly. This is a must. Think of it this way, If you buy a tv that is over $1000 are you okay with buying a new one if you do not have the protection plan?

    Fortunately, I haven't had to use the Geek Squad very often over the past 20 years. My purchases have been cameras, lenses & gear, appliances and other electronics (phones, TV's, stereo, computers, etc.) But, when needed I have found them (GS) to be prompt, understanding, accommodating & helpful. I prefer having these services local & convenient. I have used B & H, Amazon, etc. but it always involves shipping and no person-to-person contact.

    55" TCL QLED Fire TV - best decision of 2024!

    Normally have had Samsungs for picture quality, or Vizio for long-life and durability but both no longer offered as much "bang for the buck" as this TCL QLED Fire TV did. I was a little concerned the low price would mean compromise, but it didn't. The picture quality is exceptional. (As great as other high-priced TVs? No. But noticeable difference? No.) I enjoy pleasant visuals for all types of viewing and viewing conditions. It has more ports/useful ports than the competitors. (And this model still has the FireTV OS which is what I wanted for my home network.) And the other nice thing is that I did NOT NEED to purchase a sound bar. I'll admit, my living room is not spacious. If it was, I would consider adding a nice sound system. But the Dolby ATMOS audio is more than sufficient for movies, music, and everyday viewing. I've had the TV for 2 months and am so glad I stepped out of my comfort zone to try a TCL.

    The technicians were very professional from the get-go. They understood that they couldn’t park in the street because double parking they would’ve got a ticket so they were humble enough to go and park in the back alley which wound up being better. They were very courteous they picked up after themselves. They kept the chitchat to very minimal amongst themselves. They explained everything thoroughly and how the television worked and what to expect.

    This protection is always there for me and has never let me down even though I've only needed once I buy it with everything I buy over $100.00. Im nervous and want the protection. They always give replacement if something fails. Thank you so much, Erin.
