Excellent protection plan. I usually don't purchase extra protection plans. Since this purchase was an open box, I was mainly concerned with the remote having many sctatches on the solar charging panel of the remote. A new remote cost more than the protection plan. I am very pleased with Geek Squad coverage.

Great TV. Purchased 2 year Protection Plan. Lightning strike damaged TV 2 months before expiration of Protection Plan. TV will be replaced under the Plan. GREAT DEAL!
