    Have'nt had problems with TV. Its only a month since i purchased it, but like the peace of mind knowing that if there's a problem i can call the Geek Squad. Bought a two year extended warranty.

    I worked for geek squad for 6 years. Believe me when I say a 5 year on an OLED is worth it. I’ve seen cases where no warranty was bought, and it’s sad. For any OLED tv it’s a must as only Best Buy offers this! Other line Square trade will not cover burn in, and will give you a hard time about everything to deny a claim. As a former Geeksquad employee we always put the client first and gave excellent service. Just note: for TVs this doesn’t cover personally neglect like breaking it. So keep it away from pets and children if worried. Otherwise all surges, burn ins, components are covered via replacement. Or give card to put towards a new purchase. On LCD with VA, IPS panel can’t say really as the biggest worry is a backlight out, and most CC will double your MFW if needed.

    Do yourself a favor and do not skimp when it comes to protecting your investment. Geek squad will replace or repair anything that goes wrong and coverage is quite comprehensive. And will provide a significant discount on anything that isn't covered. Not to mention excellent support for any questions or issues you might run into. The customer service is excellent and very helpful. When I couldn't properly get my LG oled (bought from BestBuy) to connect with my Xbox series x and soundbar (both purchased elsewhere) one call to geek squad and the rep walked me through the the entire setup a lot more thoroughly (4k 120fps atmos) than any website or video I could find, no questions asked! If you're spending your hard earned money on something you really ought to consider this added layer of security and protection to give you peace of mind.

    So glad I bought the extended warranty for the Samsung 50in series 8 tv. The warranty I got was for 5yrs. The TV worked great for the past 4 years then the screen didn't show anymore. I called customer service and they replaced it with bigger TV for the same price I paid for the smaller TV of the same brand. Great coverage. Thanks BestBuy.

    I was once a firm believer that the protection plans were a real rip off. I purchased once from a Best Buy competitor and out of caution I purchased the plan. Good thing I did. What a nightmare. NOW - I only purchase from Best Buy and I always purchase the protection plans. It seems a good policy for me.

    I will tell you right now I always recommend a five-year warranty when you buy a TV especially if you're a type of smart buyer that doesn't constantly buy like some Enthusiast or fomo having person. I

    looks and feels nice except for the tv stand. tv stand base is nice and heavy and metal. but the shaft and mount is plastic holding a ~50 pound tv. therefore it wobbles as you set up or whenever you touch. out of the box settings are ok but its annoying to find the right settings especially if you want to get rid of the stutterrinf on fast moving objects. also annoying how intelligent mode is not always the best, so i end up going back and forth between intelligent mode on and off. but when its off you have a myriad of settings to mess around with which gets annoying furthermore. so you either always have to compromise something using their preset settings or adjust/edit settings everytime you watch something different. so unless you are constabtly going to watch the same type of things, you may spend more time than you want messing with settings. the biggest thing that bothered me is when you see bright and still objects, you see like pixels or dots moving. like when u try to see how detailed someones pores are, you also see dots moving so it seems like you have a damaged tv? im not sure how to explain it or if it is a problem but it bothers me.

    I originally purchased an open box item with the Geek Squad protection only to find the excellent condition was not even close with the screen of my television suffering severe damage. After trying to deal with the Geek Squad over the phone and being very frustrated with what I am assuming is an India based phone center, I gave up and took my issue directly to my local Best Buy store where it took some time, but I was eventually told I could receive a replacement television since the damage could not be repaired. Within 24 hours, the Geek Squad came to my home, removed the old TV, installed the new one and was in an out in under 30 minutes. If it weren't for having to deal with an unhelpful call center the rating would be higher, but since I have a local Best Buy to work with, the protection was definitely worth it.

    After having a large tv fail in less than 2 years and having purchased such a program prior to this purchase I would not buy a tv without an extended warranty! And this time added a power surge addition!!

    I had a 5 year Geek Squad warranty on my Samsung tv which was a good thing since it quit after 4 years. Best Buy sent a Geek out to my house to check it out and he determined that It was best to replace it. So they gave me a number to call and it was fairly easy for them to exchange it. Just be aware that what they replace it with might not be as good as your tv. They gave me a model that was horrible so I had to go to the store and check them out to see which one I liked. The sales guy helped us and we chose a different brand and went home and called the number and they replaced it over the phone and now will deliver it and exchange the other one. So definitely get the warranty. It's so worth it.
