[Employee of bestbuy] The extended warranty covers any damages. Seen a lot of tvs die out. Nice safety measure for the price.

I have not needed to use it yet but it sure is nice to know I'm covered if anything happens to my new purchase.

Our Tv wouldn’t power on. We had only had it less than 2 years. Geek Squad came out & had to order a part. Waited a week for them to come out to fix the part, but it didn’t work. Got a new TV a few days later! Took about 2 weeks but it was fully covered.

We bought the tv home and hooked it up our self. Discovered a line going down the screen.

The try plan saved me when the mother board went out. They replaced my tv and we even upgraded for the difference.

It is incredibly reassuring to have a 2 year warranty for any expensive purchases.

Havent had to use the service yet but im sure its top notch as is everything else.

it's convenient to have a geeksquad plan. Never know what could go wrong! this comes in clutch!

Gives me amazing piece of mind, when it comes to the 75" TV because under the terms they come right to your house in the event of a problem.

A must to have a good warranty/service program on your electronics. I highly recommend any of them.

I recently bought a new TV. I purchased the Geek Sqaud protection plan along with the TV. The protection plan is a great insurance to have, especially since is Best Buy stands behind the protection plan

Geek Squad initial service call was set up for us while we were in the store - two techs came out - I had already set up and configured the video and audio on my TV and soundbar, so they did not have much to do, other than check over all the settings - so far, service has been good

For an expensive item this is a must have. We got the protection for our washer and for the TV. In today's world of computers and technology, anything can fail. It WILL be expensive to fix.

This feature adds a little extra peace of mind. I would definitely recommend.
