I always buy the five year Geek Squad protection because Best Buy honors it. Totally worth it.

I bought a 43 inch tv a couple months ago. It got stuck on the loading screen. Tried a manual clear cache and a factory reset to no avail. Called geeksquad I bought a 5 year plan. Even though the tv was over the 30 day in store return since it was pretty new they swapped it out. I hear the horror stories of people and the insurance but in may case they were great. They were really polite and they were here the next morning with my replacement television. I would recommend getting the insurance for anything you care about keeping. I feel a little better knowing that if anything happens they will take care of it quickly. And the people that came to our house cared and were extremely professional and courteous. Kudos to best buy, I will always get protection on any significant purchase and can rest easy knowing Im not going to get a run around and excuses..Thank guys !

The agent that came to my home told me that instead of getting a new Roku remote and trying to figure it out with my older tv and Roku 2 player, just go ahead and get a Roku tv. He was able to find a Roku tv that would fit in my entertainment center on Best Buy's online store. All I had to do was pay for it online and wait for delivery. The tv came in a couple of days and set up was easy and not complicated; now I'm able to watch my channels! Thank you!

Over all I am satisfied. I owned an older model—store bought, new—for 7yrs. before it stopped working recently. so I decided to buy the newest model. I must say I am extremely satisfied. Video, sound, and gaming graphics—all which pair nicely with my ps5–are superb. The size is perfect for the bedroom not to exaggeratingly huge or small and I had to stop using my sound bar because the sound quality of the new tv was exceedigly better—the tv being mounted. Overall extremely satisfied.

We havent had to use it yet but its nice knowing we have protection on our investment.

I just wanted to protect my investment. They only disappointment was contacting Best Buy back customer service, You have to purchase Best Buy 30 day price guaranteed or become a member I’ve been buying for Best Buy for over 20 years, Best Buy wouldn’t even meet me halfway on the price match over a $50 difference that I would’ve need to purchase Best Buy membership

the agent took charge of my case and said confidently this is what we need to do that will be best for me. I loved that, I didn't have to think or debate . it was very much appreciated

Protects my TV for 5 years, that's longer than I'll probably even have the TV!

Price very competative. Hisense has been good so far but GeekSQUAD was happy to answer questions. Mainly bought because we had to return a SONY and a VIZIO for failures!

The first unit I had developed an audio problem where audio would drop out or become very distorted on TV speakers, external audio or earphones. Tried several troubleshooting techniques but no luck. Called Best Buy as I had Geek Squad Protection and they decided to send a new unit to replace it. The call took over an hour after being transferred to five different reps. Why not have one phone number that handles protection plans, thus minus one star for that and audio problem on review. The replacement arrived promptly and I set up the new TV. The picture is class leading! HDR and gaming are flawless. At 120 hz refresh rate there is no lag in signal. The audio still has a delay issue when using external audio system. I have 120hz HDMI cables. I’ll look into my setup to be sure it’s not my configuration. The Sony interface could have been more streamlined as there are three buttons on remote to bring up various menus and some are redundant. The software has extensive methods to change TV settings. I’m hoping for future firmware updates to resolve minor issues. For QD OLED I wouldn’t consider another brand coming from an LG OLED TV.
