I bought this service plan to protect my new OLED TV. I don't expect to use it but if the TV shoulde break withhin 5 years Best buy will repair or replace it. It is my understanding that because the TV was mounted by Geek Squad, that service under this plan will include mounting.

I always buy this protection and I swear it never fails me. if I need any assistance or need my device replaced for any reason geek squad is always there for me. I like how Best Buy gives you the option to buy the protection at a discounted price yea its ONLY for that particular device but its so worth it! if you don't purchase the geek squad protection with any purchase (that's eligible) from Best Buy then your going to be coming out of pocket for repairs and possibly a new item and it will end up being a pretty penny!

Geek Squad Protection has saved us on more than one occasion. Highly recommend!

Worth it. These TVs will die. Spend 80, and get a new one.

like the title says it is definitely worth getting five year protection plan, anything goes wrong with your product they will have geek squad come out to your house figured the conditions of the damage product attempt to fix the damage product and the third time after they come out they decide they cannot fix it they will replace with a new product or write you a check for the amount you spent for product . I feel this plan was made for the customer not for the company, the customer no matter what the outcome will benefit from this five-year plan.

Comes in handy. Peace of mind to have because you never know what happened with electronics.

Worth getting, as it's reassuring to know that your product is in good hands

Purchased my tv with a 5 year warranty. Four years later my tv is having issues with what seems to be the wifi card which was replaced. But 2 weeks later the tv is having issues again and they are unwilling to come and take a look at the tv, blaming my wifi at home. I have other electronics at home that work fine without any issues only the tv is having problems. I have video proof of what the tv is doing but yet they blame my wifi. The tv is turning off the wifi on its own, there is no setting to turn this off. I will not be buying again from best buy, let alone use the geek squad service again.

I rarely have to use Geek Squad, but it’s always nice to have them available to protect a purchase!

Wonderful technician. He explained everything he was doing and made sure I understood everything. Very impressed with service. On time and very helpful.

It is a good plan to help one feel worry free. I just hope it would not overlap with the first year manufacturer's warranty so that there will be more years to be covered in total with less cost. Here is what I read online: "You should also check whether the coverage of the service contract overlaps with the problems and time periods the manufacturer’s warranty covers to avoid paying for unneeded coverage. You may find that any additional coverage is not worth the additional cost." I understand the coverage is different, but what I really need is a longer time manufacturer’s warranty with less cost (Accident coverage is not so important for me. I always use my furniture and electronic devices very gently and carefully).

The guys were were terrific, worked proficiently and with good care, cleaned up b4 they left

I honestly never needed to use the service, so hats off to best buy for having quality items that outlast their warranty!!

Have had to use this protection twice and both times was a pleasant experience, I believe it is better to have the protection and not need it than to need it and not have it, honestly I can recommend getting the extended warranty, without hesitation

I allways get geek squad.very good .you thay can't fix you product you get a refund. Are the same product. No hassle.
