I can't remember what I bought this for but we haven't needed to use it. I'm sure it would have come in handy if something happrned to our purchase.

I would recommend getting the 5 warranty with any of the newer products over $200.00. The last 5 TVs purchased, had failures between the two and three-year mark. Since I purchased a 42 inch TV the GeekSquad came out to the house but wasn't able to repair it, so I exchanged it for a better one.

Its a basic protector but money well spent. Make sure you update your surge protection! We had an old protector that shorted out TWO tvs. We didnt know the first tv went out because of the old unit but we learned the hard way.

My last tv had a problem nearly immediately after purchase. The Geek Squad replaced the hardware boards and the tv was fine for as long as I expected it to last.

2 years coverage for ~$100 seems like a great offer for product support from Bestbuy

The Geek Squad is the best! They are always helpful when I have a problem. I wouldn’t buy a product without getting their protection plan.

Consider the cost of the tv i bought and they guarantee it for 5 years. I see tvs all over on cl selling w bad pixels or a line. If this hapoens in 4 years from nowwell i call best buy and tgey bring me a samsung series 9 tv that has 3d to my house and haul off the bad one who wouldnt want their tech replaced with the new updated version?

It’s good to have protection on your items that you purchase, because accident do happen.

Geek squad serviced my tv. Weren’t able to fix so they gave me store credit for old tv and I was able to purchase a new tv for no cost. Awesome!

Haven't had the need for this yet but 5 years is a long time. Seeing as how my LG CX had problems after 3 years, I'm hoping that my new LG C3 will perform better.

I like the tv. The only issue was the picture quality during football games. Did not realize it until football season started

I bought a new 65" 4K UHD tv and added the 5-year geek squad protection. You never know when your cat might decide to jump behind the tv, get tangled in your premium HDMI cables, and decide to just dash out and knock it all down, ruining your evening television watching. Best to be safe, get the protection! Also, get rewards points for writing this review. I hope you enjoyed.

I didn't use the geek squad for this item, although I have heard so many good things about them and thier prompt services.I would definitely use them.

The TV mounting service was atrocious and delivery was abysmal. As long as geeksquad commits to their warranty service if I ever need them in 5 years, I might recommend this service.

We were reluctant to purchase the Geek squad service but so glad we did. We have need help several times and we also purchased a new TV and it is covered with 2 day shipping. Love it!
