Purchased Geek Squad Protection Plan, sometimes a deciding factor when purchasing item of a greater value. Great people and Team of experts at Best Buy! Not always needed, which is a good thing, but beyond any product's warranty and experiencing problems, they come and repair products on-site and if parts become unavailable, they will replace it with a new product. I can only speak highly of Geek Squad Services.

This screen protector is fantastic and I wish I could rate it 6 stars. In a horrific chain of events I tragically dropped my phone from approximately 4 3/4 feet directly onto cold hard pavement littered with gravel. (Dropped it out my car window) I hesitantly exited my vehicle and then proceeded to step directly on top of the phone which was screen side down. To my dismay I observed multiple cracks on the screen of my almost new iPhone 8. I then did the drive of shame back home where I could more closely observe the catastrophic damage to my phone screen. I slowly pulled it out of my pocket as a single tear ran down my face. Suddenly I was overcome with an epiphany. I had purchased and installed this glass protector on my phone. Is it possible that my screen was still intact? Is it possible that this 8 dollar product saved me from replacing my entire screen? I slowly peeled back the screen and was filled with joy. I haven't felt joy like this since I opened up my Nintendo 64 one 1990's Christmas morning. My screen was unscathed. I snapped a picture of the decimated screen cover, and gave it a proper viking burial. Thank you for your service tempered glass screen protector.The description of "ultra clear" is truthful: the clarity of my phone screen isn't at all diminished with it on. Because I have an iPhone 7, no protector can cover the entirety of the screen; this does, however, cover the entire flat part of the screen, unlike other protectors I've tried which were very visibly 1mm too short. The protector also doesn't cause any issues with functionality - touch sensitivity, 3D touch etc. all feel unchanged. The surface feels really smooth to the touch.

Had an issue with my 3 year old 75” Samsung. It needed a new part, so I waited 2 weeks for the repair to happen, which was fine for us because we have another tv. When they got here the part they brought was wrong so he went outside to order it and at that point decided it wasn’t worth it to replace that (and ended up needing a couple other parts that they didn’t realize we needed) so they told us we needed to replace it. It took me maybe 20 minutes to call in the replacement and in a week we had our new tv delivered and the old one was taken out. It would have been extra to have it mounted by geek squad so we opted out but we were so happy with how easy it was for the whole process. So worth it!! And I am assuming it took so long (about 3 weeks total) because of where we live — in the middle of nowhere. I will never buy another tv without geek squad protection!

I bought a 43 inch tv a couple months ago. It got stuck on the loading screen. Tried a manual clear cache and a factory reset to no avail. Called geeksquad I bought a 5 year plan. Even though the tv was over the 30 day in store return since it was pretty new they swapped it out. I hear the horror stories of people and the insurance but in may case they were great. They were really polite and they were here the next morning with my replacement television. I would recommend getting the insurance for anything you care about keeping. I feel a little better knowing that if anything happens they will take care of it quickly. And the people that came to our house cared and were extremely professional and courteous. Kudos to best buy, I will always get protection on any significant purchase and can rest easy knowing Im not going to get a run around and excuses..Thank guys !

I purchased the 5 year warranty plan for the protection for my new appliance. I wanted a warranty that would be beneficial in case I had any problems with my tv.

We had to use our 2 year plan. They did pay up to what we paid for the TV but that was a lower amount due to a recent discounted price. Therefore in order to swap out for a "like TV" we would have to pay more! Should be based upon the value of the TV when it was originally listed. If we swapped for the same amount we paid we would wind up with a inferior TV today. So we would up having to pay more to upgrade due to the defective TV in under 2 years.

I called after my TV suddenly stopped working and the agent was very helpful and a replaced my TV within 3 days they came to my house picked up my old broken TV and installed my new TV all in all this was an excellent experience

I'm very happy with the five year extra warranty.I didn't think, however it was.Especially a great buy to get it.Thought it would be a little bit less

It's essential to have this protection because you never know if a device will be good or not. It may come with a manufacturing defect that isn't usually noticed at first, but after a certain amount of use, a problem arises. That's what Geek squad protection is for. Buy the Geek Squad 5-year warranty for your electronic purchases. Unfortunately I needed support and guidance for filing a claim for warranty. BB and the GS helped me through the claim flawlessly. Definitely worth the price for the warranty!

I’ve had this tv for over a month and haven’t had any problems highly recommend

I have purchased a mini things through Best Buy and everything I have ever brought. I have never had any problems if something went wrong I needed to return it or if something was damaged and I needed to return it the Best Buy Plaza Airport Road is the best never had a hard time they have always been willing to assist me And I appreciate everything they do Best Buy really stand behind a products thank you guys so much. The first unit I had developed an audio problem where audio would drop out or become very distorted on TV speakers, external audio or earphones. Tried several troubleshooting techniques but no luck. Called Best Buy as I had Geek Squad Protection and they decided to send a new unit to replace it. The call took over an hour after being transferred to five different reps. Why not have one phone number that handles protection plans, thus minus one star for that and audio problem on review. The replacement arrived promptly and I set up the new TV. The picture is class leading! HDR and gaming are flawless. At 120 hz refresh rate there is no lag in signal. The audio still has a delay issue when using external audio system. I have 120hz HDMI cables. I’ll look into my setup to be sure it’s not my configuration. The Sony interface could have been more streamlined as there are three buttons on remote to bring up various menus and some are redundant. The software has extensive methods to change TV settings. I’m hoping for future firmware updates to resolve minor issues. For QD OLED I wouldn’t consider another brand coming from an LG OLED TV.

Well worth purchasing on an expensive oled tv. Reasonable for 5 year warranty.
