Good in-store service. Product was unopened and no box damage.

I am disabled and in a wheelchair, I purchased a 50 inch TV and almost 2 years ago and I thought that if I had an issue with it, but when I called about it they said that due to the size I qualified for in home service. The rep who came was very nice and helpful and answered all of my questions too. I plan to renew my extended warranty with Best Buy and I am happy that Best Buy now keeps a record of all of my purchases so I don't have to keep track of a faded receipt to make a claim on my extended warranty. I also got one for my sound bar and because they didn't have that particular type they said that they they will give me the next upgraded version of what I had.

A week prior to getting the protection i was offered it at the time of purchase and i got an extremely cheap open box 4k sony tv and the price of it brand new was $2500, the open box item i was buying was $700 and at the time our purchase they wanted to charge me the protection of a $2500 tv which came out to $550 for 5 years protection, so i went in a week later and a young man helped me get it figured out and I got the protection for the price that I had actually paid for and I was very very satisfied!!!!

The colors are unbelievable. It has built in surround sound. There are more channels and apps to count. I am very happy with this purchase.

I won’t buy any electronics without the warranty. Best Buy backs their products wonderfully.

With risk of burn in, it is always a great idea for protection with these pricey OLED TVs

Very professional team installed my TV and took away the old one. All my questions were answered,

The TV was incredibly easy to setup. I have an existing Alexa Fire TV and once connected to my WiFi network, it was simple to clone the apps and settings from the other TV. That is an awesome feature. The only issue I have with the TV so far is that the colors don't seem as vibrant or accurate as I was hoping they would be. For instance, I watched the U of Oregon vs Oregon State football game. The Oregon uniforms were a bright green and the OSU uniforms were orange. The orange looked red and no matter how much I attempted to adjust the color, I couldn't find any way to get it right. Other than that it seems like a decent TV, especially for the Black Friday price.

I had an issue with the screen on a 65" OLED LG television. The television was inspected by a technician and was replaced at no charge. I am a very satisfied customer.

We purchased this extended warranty because of a past experience. We purchased a Sony DLP set in 2007 from Best Buy and took the extended warranty. One week before the extension expired they had to replace the entire video engine. The parts alone were $1,500 and I don't recall the labor but it wasn't inexpensive. We were covered (I don't recall if there was a small service fee or not) and saved 6 to 8 times more than the cost of the warranty. Some say if nothing goes wrong in the first 90 days with electronics nothing will go wrong for many years. Well that's true in many cases and in other cases such as ours we have seen it's not true. You can look at this as insurance and weigh the annual cost of the warranty against the risk that nothing will go wrong. However, consider the fact that when something goes wrong with high tech electronics, especially in large sets, repairs can be rather expensive. It's a personal decision and also depends on whether you have the money or desire to pay up front. It worked for us in the past at least.

It seems like whenever I finally need to use GeekSquad for something important.. they are unable to assist. A little frustrating, I don't pay for extra protection because doesn't seem worth it to me

I purchased the 5 year warrant thank God I did. The tv went bad in the fourth year and I was able to get the money back I paid for the tv and got a brand new tv. Well worth it.

I always purchase the Geek Squad protection plan with my electronic purchases. The price is very reasonable; even if you don't need it, it's well worth the peace of mind. I only had to use it once; all it took was one phone call and my TV was replaced. I'm very pleased with my Geek Squad Protection plan.

I got this protection for my first tv, when it broke and could not be repaired. A $799.99 They gave me my choice of a new tv of the same amount of money. So, when I got my new TV, I took the same Protection on my new tv. A very good deal.

Seems like it was a smart move to purchase an additional warranty at a reasonable price.
