Haven’t had to use it and hopefully won’t but it’s nice to know I’m protected should I need it

Haven’t had to use it yet so don’t really know it’s worth but I know if you get a good GS rep it’s a good service

I have always purchased the Best Buy Protection Plan on big-ticketed items like TVs, laptops that could easily get damaged. I had been advised not to get it as it is a waste of money since products are built to last. But not all products do. For the $500/5yr Protection Plan I purchased in 2010, I have called Geek Squad several times to fix my broken TV. Paid $0 on all those house calls. When they could not fix the TV in my last service call, they replaced it. What did I get? A $1000 credit to go towards the purchase of a new one...Of course, I purchased the Protection Plan, thus this review :)

The five year warranty seemed like a good choice when purchasing my first Insignia brand TV. I had previously always purchased a major national brad and wanted a bit of peace of mind. I have not yet needed the warranty after just a few months but that is all going.

Love purchasing yheir insurance. Always feel like I'm in good hands in case of an accident.

Best Buy stands behind their products so I always buy the protection plan. Many people feel that the plans are a waste of money but they are wonderful if you have a problem with a product. I have bought many plans and never used them but on the other hand I have had plans on larger purchases that ended up being a tremendous product to invest in for the future of my purchase. I always spend the few extra dollars for my protection and peace of mind.

Geek Squad not able to help as product still under manufacturer warranty, but transfered me directly to samsung to get replacement

Comes in handy. Peace of mind to have because you never know what happened with electronics.

I haven't had to use this yet, thankfully. Bought this coverage with a brand new LG OLED TV. Seemed like a practical buy given the price of the tv.

Geek squad installed my television flawlessly and was very professional throughout the entire process.

I always deal good with the Geek Squad they haven't let me down yet thank you.

The greatest thing about the Geek Squad is that wherever I have used them they have always worked things out. And always there if needed.

Geek squad was excellent. Clean install and took all garbage with them. Wouldn't even know they were here. Perfect.

Hopefully won't need the warranty, but gives peace of mind with the purchase of a large TV.

So far my tv and the service provided has been pretty good

TV failed after 2 years (hdmi ports not working anymore). Luckily I had the geek squad warranty on it and was able to exchange it for an upgraded model. Can’t go without putting the warranty on my electronics for sure. I wish they had it for apple items as well, but I get it.
