I have no problem picking up the Geek Squad Protection when I am investing in something significant - like this new 55-inch Sony 4K Ultra HD Smart TV. In today's world, where technology becomes obsolete so quickly - having five years of protection gives me the peace of mind I will be covered in case anything goes wrong during the "life" of my TV. Because in five years, I'll probably be buying a new one anyway.

Haven't had a problem on Hisense Tv's but there's always a first time, knock on wood. I bought the TV reg price was $1000, for 75", I got on sale for Christmas for $600.00, The protection plan was $ 75. or close, I am proud to be protected. I had the use the plan on another model TV, and bestbuy honored very well.

Although it took alot of holding of the phone & waiting in line at the store, all in all, I'd recommend this protection plan. If it weren't for the 2 year plan we purchased, I'd have to fork out at least $500 for a TV comparable to the one we had that just gave out. Instead, we received a $400 gift card to use towards a new one. I paid $150 out of pocket for the difference. Not bad at all. In fact, this time around I paid for the 5 year protection plan. It could use some streamlining as far as customer service is concerned but still worth the trouble I went through.

I haven't had to use it yet but the did use it on the last TV that I purchased and it was great. They came out and repaired the TV twice over 3 years. Then, on the third repair, they gave me a store credit for a new equivalent TV or I could use the amount towards a better one. Simple and very pleasant.

Get the 5 Year warranty because Best buy back's it up 100 percent any problems get a new one or a different one for the same price.....

I mounted the TV Myself but the people were very helpful with all the advice they gave me, I appreciate all the recommendations and good energy I was given

I have exchanged tjings that was damaged and lost. They honored the protection plan and i got a new replacement.

I feel that when you spend over $300 on a tv you should buy an extended warranty! It’s better to be covered in the event something goes wrong! I like that it will be serviced in my home because of the size of the TV! So for 5 years I can be reassured that I can have my tv for years to come!

We purchased the warranty on our new TV when our old TV started having issues less than 4 years old. The new one started having issues 14 months later, 2 months after the manufacturers warranty expired. The geek squad warranty covered it completely. The only thing is that they don't give you credit for the amount you paid for the TV they give you the amount it's currently worth. But still well worth it.

Protection was good and never had any trouble with the Geek Squad. Products purchased have work so well I did not heed the extra service.

I had taken Greek Squad protection plan for my 43inch samsung tv. Everything went smooth and easy with protection plan when i hd issues with my TV and exchanged with new tv which is working great so far

Geek squad always has your back. I fortunately haven't had to use their services on my TV but know they will be there if i need them!

Im really glad that geek squad is available. Now i know that if and when it is having trouble i will have coverage for it and the geek squad will help out!!

I always get the Geek Squad protection on major purchases recently used it on an oven that we got 4 years ago and they tried to fix it but ultimately replaced it.

Gives you the piece of mind in case something goes wrong.

Let me tell you it is really great having the Geek Squad Protection for what ever you purchase because you never know what is going to happen to your purchase's. I have learned that before so from then on I have been getting it on what ever I get that says that I can get it just to have it.
