    The best thing was to get anything in bestbuy. I really liked my product and the customer service did the best and made me feel more comfortable.

    They do keep trying and trying and trying and trying, even if they never get it right so the guarantee is good if they had staff that knew how to do the work

    I was looking to get a protection plan and didnt know who to go with but after searching discovered 5 year is the most coverage out there, so yeah I think so.

    Geeksquad is the way to go with protection on your electronics at best. Good customer service and prices are fair for the length of time it's protected.

    With a tv that didn’t fit in my car, they helped dearly with getting the return pushed back out (has to be rechecked by tech) and put it on hold til I could come back for my open box purchase! They, the first gentleman I spoke to on the phone to make the purchase & the whole best buy team at the location I visited helped amazingly!!!

    Our faithful tv screen went out and did not come back on. I chatted and called the protection plan and since the item was not able to be repaired it was refunded. The service is worth it completely!

    Geek Squad add on when buying a system a must. My LG TV quit after a year. Geek Squad replaced the TV and did the reinstallation. Worth the cost

    Hopefully don't need to use it but good to know I have the protection for 5 years considering how often electronics tend to break early.

    Okay, how do you write a review for a service contract you have yet to use. So this is based on previous service contracts I have bought from Best Buy. This one is for our LG TV but the previous one was for our Sony Bravia TV. It paid off as the Sony gave out right as the manufacturer warranty was going away. The problem was the panel so Best Buy opted to swap it out. NOTE: They did try to give us the base model Sony saying it would do everything our original TV did. I complained it should cover the cost of the TV not the features as there was also an aesthetic quality and while the newer TV would do all the stuff our old Sony did, the old Sony was a nicer looking model. I offered to meet them half way and they let me upgrade to the nicer Bravia and split the cost with me. Best Buy has always been able to work with me and why we bought a contract on the new LG OLED TV. Simply put, you can't go wrong in getting the warranty on expensive items and an OLED TV right now would cost way more than we paid for the one we got. Hoping it doesn't go out but if it does, Best Buy has our back.

    I normally don’t buy an extended warranty but due that the tv is a fair condition item and open box I decided to secure the investment.

    Definitely worth the extra cash for the protection especially on an OLED TV. Covers burn in!!!!!

    Can't go wrong with a 5 year warranty on your bigger investment in your house. Have used Geek Squad previously and was happy with their customer service.

    I think it is a really good product. I had an issue with a Sony TV and fortunately I had the five-year protection plan through Best Buy and they warranty the TV out for me.

    Geek Squad puts the service in customer service

    Easy and fast to get in touch with an agent, but the best part about when you have to contact geek squad is that you don't have to spend a lot of time if any going through the automated system to speak to an actual person. This is HUGE for me I don't remember having to answer a lot of prompts before I was able to speak to an actual person, if there were any prompts on the automated system it was only 1 or 2. Unlike when I have to call Comcast for anything, for example if I am calling about a billing issue, I have to spend 15-20 minutes in the automated system before I get to the billing department, then before I am able to speak to a person the automated system forces me to first try to resolve the issue with a virtual agent on their website, if the virtual agent can't resolve my issue I then and only then will they allow me to speak to an actual person, and even then I must request an agent to call me back from the site, there is no way I can simply wait to speak to an agent. It is annoying and frustrating. Every agent I have spoken to at Geek squad took less then 3 minutes to get connected with, they know their stuff, and if I ask a question, they do not know the answer to I have never had to wait for them to find the answer and wait for them get back to me latter by email or phone with the answer to my question, if they do not know the answer to a question I asked, they have always found the answer to the question before the end of the call, I may have to wait a bit for them to find the answer but they have always found the answer before the end of the call. Also, when they make an appointment, they show up on time if not early. They are the biggest reason I will never buy my electronics anywhere else.
