TV protection is a must especially since I had one television that stop working and it hadn't even been 2 years.

the care plan is worth it if you are worried about your technology working up to 2 years from purchase. It's worked out in my favor a number of times.

I always purchase the warranty on electronics, you never know what can go wrong with them now a days, basically you get a newer product if something goes wrong with yours
