It's always a good idea to get extra protection plans on anything that you don't want to buy twice because while the quality is great in most of the new technology, any mass produced items have a few flaws once in a while, quality control is really good nowadays but it's always smart to be sure, I've had a few things that I have had to do the warranty on and I was really happy to have it because the manufacturer warranty had expired. I will always get the warranty.

WE discovered after unboxing the 75 inch television, that there was an internal flaw....the screen did not show! When I called, the gentleman said a replacement television would be sent out and the flawed one would be picked up....and it was within 3 days!!!

Good insurance for a tv. Come out and repair or replace. Didn’t like that it was double the cost of TV protection that was on $200 less than

It’s always to add their warranty cause they always take care of the item without question!

I’m confused about the returned note… geek squad guys requested for the exchange of the tv… we end up getting a different tv and paid extra and that’s fine but was told we can’t transfer the protection we paid extra to this new tv… we paid for 5 yrs protection and it’s only over a year and problem arises..

I have learned if I only have to make one phone call for help it has paid for itself. I purchased a new TV for our bedroom, our first smart TV. Didn’t understand why I couldn’t get it hooked up and working. The geek squad tech talked me thru the setup. He was quickly able to tell me I was missing the correct cable between TV and box. He told me what part was required. Once I got that part (a whole different story and review) I was set up and watching TV in less than 15 minutes.

I haven't had to use this yet, thankfully. Bought this coverage with a brand new LG OLED TV. Seemed like a practical buy given the price of the tv.

Whenever I make large electronic purchases, I always consider and usually purchase the optional Geek Squad Protection which is typically for at least 5 years. Most of the time, it has come in very handy with address issues with products like when our Whirlpool Washer we purchased in 2007 had numerous issues (never the same problem) over the years which Best Buy fixed each time. Do yourself a favor and consider getting this when making large purchases.

I was a little reluctant at 1st to spend $450 for a 5 year warranty for my Samsung - 85" Class Q70A Series QLED 4K UHD Smart Tizen TV. After reading the customer reviews from the customers that didn’t purchase it really regretted not purchasing the warranty. I feel much more comfortable now that I purchased the warranty for my tv.

The greatest thing about the Geek Squad is that wherever I have used them they have always worked things out. And always there if needed.

Worth the extra money was able to get my broken tv replaced

Purchased an OLED tv and I would be lying if I didn’t feel nervous about encountering any issues. Such as power surge issues, burn-in, dead pixels etc. I usually lose power at my house during a heavy storm and living in Florida we get those quite often. So that is a big concern for me and of course the possibility of burn-in. I doubt my tv usage would cause burn-in early on but the peace of mind is worth it. I’d highly recommend geek squad protection
