My last LG purchased was the 77in C1 and feature wise this tv improves on that by leaps and bounds. It upscales netflix hd to near 4k quality and is packed with so many picture options to help you get the image just right. The only area it falters a bit is in the gaming department. Game mode washes out the colors and hdr a bit, This tv gets extremely bright when watching movies and the hdr highlights really pop on screen during 4kmovies. All around the C4 is a movie/sports lovers dream but if youre looking for the best gaming set go with the S90D from Samsung which i also have in the 77in model. Another thing, dont be pressed to purchase the Geek Squad warranty because the first year is covered by the manufacturer anyway. I recommend signing up for the LG warranty and before the year is up they'll send you info to extend that warranty. Once again, for 4k and 1080p movies/sports and even gaming, this tv is hard to beat. I hope this helps.

Geek squad came to repair my previous tv which was a Samsung that i replaced with the Sony, the first crew came out and did some tinkering and said everythings fine and my tv worked for another 2 weeks before i had to have geek squad come back and repair it again. The next set group that came to my house realized that the motherboard was burnt like it was in a fire and they told me to get rid of the tv because it could've started a fire and they gave me the credit for my tv so i could buy a new one and thats how I ended up with the Sony Bravia which is by far my favorite tv that Ive owned.

I have the same warranty on my other TV and the TV is working good after three years still no issues except the remote control having to be replaced. Find electronics one should always get a warranty on and the warranty was a good deal.

I believe the protection is reasonably priced and worth it, having peace of mind that if anything happens, you're covered to receive support.

Definitely a must have! Neve hurts to add this on!

Great coverage for my tv. I always use geek squads extended coverage after an issue I had with Samsungs warranty 1 day out of warranty. I wonder change a thing though! They even said they would replace a broke/lost remote twice

I am not knowledgeable when it comes to why video quality on some televisions is better than others. Maybe it is the type (LED vs older tech?). I say this prefacing my comparison of our old TVs. We have two Toshibas, bought in 2007. Love those two TVs. People look "real", have color to their cheeks; plus, no issues in all that time. This Insignia, everything is kind of "whited out" or overly bright (yep, tried the different settings). However, my main reason for purchasing this TV is wanting a dumb TV; and, those options are becoming extremely limited recently. My ID was stolen in 2021 and the privacy issues with the "smart TVs" do not instill confidence. (To disclose: 50 year old female that does not understand my peers' obsession with posting everything, never removing phones from hands, etc.) Well, even though the video is a little lacking, the sound seems similar to the Toshibas. And, my husband said, "Buy at least one more, since it seems we won't have a choice of non-"smart" in the near future." I think the reason our Toshibas have lasted 16 years is because there is no software to crash, not be updated, etc. So, yes, I recommend! Maybe I'll get a third to store away. I do have an Insignia antenna purchase here at Best Buy attached - we get 56 channels in our location. I also have a Roku and BluRay player attached. Yes, I get the Roku is "smart", but I can disconnect and the tv still functions with the antenna.

Love having the added security of this service. With more and more products being so delicate it’s nice having this just in case service.

I never have been forced to use this personally since everything I buy from Best Buy is of decent quality and easy to use but it's very nice to have this included in my membership!

Bought this during a holiday deal in December 2024 door my son’s bedroom & the price was excellent - less than $80 inc tax. I’m sure there are better/higher quality TVs out there, but for the price, you can’t beat this one. Quick & easy set up, good resolution & decent sound. We were happy enough with it that we bought a smaller version a couple of months later when our kitchen TV but the dust. Only slightly annoying thing is that the long slim remote cover can come off fairly easily.

On the Plus side, excellent picture; clear and sharp 1080pHD, On the Negative side: took over 4 hours to get it to correctly scan for cable broadcast channels, and had to reset the TV to factory defaults before it was able to do so. Picture is a little washed out so changed the picture settings to "Dynamic" and major improvement; problem is when you change streaming service or switch to broadcast TV a message says "Optimizing Picture Settings" which results in the washed out picture. You have to set the picture to "Dynamic" every time you switch each streaming service or switch to cable channel broadcast. Royal Pain. Alexa remote is pretty good otherwise the remote is pretty basic and feels kind of flimsy. DON'T count on any help from Best Buy with TV issues; Geek Squad only deals with computers and their foreign country based telephone tech support knows nothing and doesn't even make notes on your account when you call (9 calls in a 3 1/2 hour period and had to repeat myself every time as the predecessor never noted the account. ATROCIOUS customer support, but if you can live with the picture reset every time - and I can - this TV is pretty good for the price point.

Bought a tv for Christmas to gift and it didnt work after a week. Geek squad sent it out to figure out what the problem was and within a week they let me know I would be getting store credit for my purschase.

Great no hassle warranty had 2 TV's go out rap before my warranty was to expire.There was no questions asked, they brought out 2 new T.V.S took the two old ones , and I was backed up and running again , great value

Five years of peace of mind for little money! Ordinarily technology items go down in price quickly making repairs more than buying a new replacement. This 5 year extended warranty reverses this thought.
