I always purchase the protection plan because returning an item is hassle free no matter what happens accidental damage or product failure. Simply walk in swap them out and be on your way.

Bought a new tv, and decided to get the geek squad protection. I have not had to use it yet, but it gives you a piece of mind knowing you have extra warranty. Best Buy has excellent geek quad techs, so worth the money.

I hope i never have to use this but it is a nice feature to have. Figure it was better to have it in case. Replacing a new TV can get expensive

Love geek squad warranties.Anytime I have a issue with a product I'm able to return it to the store and the customer service rep returns the items for me.

I've only used Best Buy warranty once in my life. It was with TIVO DVR OTA. It stopped working, took it to Best Buy, and they told me to get a new one. End of the story. K9

I’m glad to be able to get this 5-year warranty. My last tv only lasted about 5 years. The back lights went out. Better off buying a new tv.

I always purchase insurance on all my items. I love the fact that I can get to my local Best Buy and get the help asap. I've used Geek Squad and they definitely helped me with all my questions and guide me on replacements when needed.

I strongly recommend anyone purchasing electronics buying the protection plan is the way to go.
