It's always a good idea to get extra protection plans on anything that you don't want to buy twice because while the quality is great in most of the new technology, any mass produced items have a few flaws once in a while, quality control is really good nowadays but it's always smart to be sure, I've had a few things that I have had to do the warranty on and I was really happy to have it because the manufacturer warranty had expired. I will always get the warranty.

I have learned if I only have to make one phone call for help it has paid for itself. I purchased a new TV for our bedroom, our first smart TV. Didn’t understand why I couldn’t get it hooked up and working. The geek squad tech talked me thru the setup. He was quickly able to tell me I was missing the correct cable between TV and box. He told me what part was required. Once I got that part (a whole different story and review) I was set up and watching TV in less than 15 minutes.
