Worth every penny. Had to replace 2 tv’s due to lightening. With Geek SQUAD PROTECTION now we have replacement courage if this happens again. Like all insurance hope you never need it but just in case we will be protected.

Would never purchase a $2000 TV without a 5-year warranty. I've used it multiple times on previous products getting them fixed, never on my dime, and have gotten ALL my investment back on 2 different TV's over the past 20 years. Well worth it.

Protection protection protection people please get the protection plans when buying these valuable items, it is very worth it

The TV was on sale, which made up for the price of the warranty. I haven't had to use it, so I'll update this review if I do. I generally avoid extended warranties, but QC on consumer electronics can be hit or miss depending on the brand.

If your going to spend a lot of money on quality parts then go ahead and treat yourself to a geek squad protection plan. It’s worth it!!!!

The service was awesome and I even received help on reduced prices of items that I didn’t even know about so I think Best Buy for everything

This feels like i am reviewing geek servitude. haven't used it yet, but figured i needed it since 4 year old OLED had major burn-in issues. totally should be covered by mfr, but i guess they didn't anticpate a pandemic and that my burn in would be "CNN LIVE CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC" not kidding

Geek squad has been extremely helpful in resolving an issue with my TV. Honestly, you don’t realize how much you need their expertise until you need it. Very happy with my experience. Highly recommend.

I have not needed with my TV but in the distant past used the Geek Squad for a lap top.

I have purchased this for the past 3 tv's I bought and have had to use them. These skinny flat screen tv's aren't made to be fixed.

5 year protection so worth it on a TV. On average TV's can burn out internal chips, boards, capacitors, resistors, and there a heck of a lot of tech in there compared to years ago, much more could go wrong so best to have the 5 year service imo.

I read great things about Geek Squad protection for OLED TVs. I got a G3 77 inch recently and this is super critical as backup just in case.

Purchased for my new $2k Samsung TV after my old TV died after three years. I've only heard good things about this service so i feel it is well worth having that comfort of protection

I've never had a problem with their protection plans. Amazing customer service, I'd recommend for tvs in particular since sometimes they come wonky from factory.

Agents who installed T.V did awesome and would recommend highly, I will say the program used to give equal trade value need to be more accurate on EQUAL service not DOWN GRADE to save money on a product you used INSURANCE CLAIMS on.

I was happy to see that my "open box" item (which was a Samsung 40" LED tcv) was eligible for best buy protection and was decently priced as well. So now I have that added level of comfort in knowing that if anything goes wrong with my TV Best Buy will fix or replace it... its always worth it especially when purchasing an open box item

Cheap peace of mind when buying electronics. Things happen and nothing is getting any cheaper to replace, so it makes sence to me to get the warranty on some items.

i always get the geek squad prtection, you may never use it but when you need it it is there, the prior tv i bought it was a good thing i had this, the manufacture protection ran out geek squad replaced my tv with no questons
