almost into the end of my 2 year agreement the TV went bad. Geek Squad came to my house, helped me out, all ended up good. If not for geek squad protection I would have spent a lot more on another TV

Have not had to use them on the Tnew TV yet. However, their work on my computers has been outstanding and I am sure they will be able to handle the TV problem, it one occurs. The contract is worth it!

Definitely get the protection plan if you're doing big spending! An extra $130 to prevent yourself from having to spend another $1500 again goes a looongg way. Protect your investments, your money is important

I always buy insurance on TV because the warranty you get with Best Buy is hassle free. Any problem just bring it back and get something else.
