Glad I have it - hope I don't have to use it. But it!

Always purchase geek squad protection for items bought at Best Buy... boys can be hard on electronics

These warranties are great and gives you peace of mind. You don’t have to bring you item in the store for repairs, they’ll come to you!

Hoping not to have to use this but I have always purchased the coverage for a big tv purchase. I rather be safe than sorry if I ever do need it.

Must have since these OLED's aren't cheap and gives you additional year or 2 of worry free service.

Replacement rules are a joke! My Samsung 50” QLED TV started showing black lines at the bottom so naturally I called geek squad to troubleshoot. The Geek Squad guy (who was very nice) determined I was not at fault and that it was a quality control issue so the tv needed to get replaced. He got in touch with the “GEEK SQUAD EXHANGE SUPPORT TEAM” and facilitated the exchange process. When I followed up with the Geek Squad Exchange Support Team, I was initially assured by the representative that I would be refunded the amount that my tv was worth or at least an amount that was very close to the original price that I paid. THAT WASNT THE CASE! I was shortchanged over $120 short of the original price of my tv. I WAS LIVID because that is so illogical to me! I asked if my particular tv that would be getting replaced (50” samsung QLED) had depreciated since I purchased it last year. The representative said that the shortchanged refunded price was not due to depreciation. The reason was they use a moronic and flawed computer program that determines the comparable price to be refunded. Once my tv’s info was entered into this computer program, it turns out that my particular tv “doesnt exist anymore” so the next random tv with so called “matching specs” had to be chosen. Well this sucks because the tv chosen was $200 cheaper than my tv and didnt even have the same specs! That is not comparable or close to the original price like the rep assured me. So Im out over $120. AND CHECK THIS OUT! A newer version of my QLED tv WITH THE EXACT SAME SPECS is currently for sale now on Best Buy’s website. And guess what? It is exactly the same price I paid for my “nonexistent” model! THAT IS WHACK BEYOND COMPREHENSION! This is the last time I buy a tv from Best Buy because their contractual terms for replacements need to be completely REVISED! If your tv breaks & you choose this service plan, you better pray your particular tv still exists if it breaks. If not, you face being CHEATED OUT OF YOUR MONEY!

I was under the impression that I get the replacement item..but they did not,they gave me a credit and really it’s not a full credit it’s like a minimal credit that you can use towards that Item,in my case it was a TV. I don’t know how the assessed value off the TV to the credit they offered me but I had a top up to get another TV... And by the way they Will ask you to bring the broken item or broken TV in my case And will keep it..Will probably fix it and sell it again on the open box items If it’s fixable

I haven’t gotten chance to use it on this particular device but when my others did it was fixed and returned promptly

You can't beat the piece of mind you get knowing you're covered if most anything goes wrong with your new purchase. Would highly recommend you do the same!

Worth every penny for the LG C1. Hope I don't have to use it but glad I have the insurance.

hope this was a good buy as geek squad service hasn't helped me much in the past

since I bought a Samsung 70in tv that sucks I am at ease knowing the additional 2 year warranty covers it

I recommend on any purchase over $500. We used this on our TV last month and they were great about replacing it.
