    I’ve usually had good experiences with Best Buy after sales support even compared to some of the manufacturers. And the simplicity of walking into a nearby store vs dealing with a manufacturer makes this very worthwhile.

    It is really great to know that the Geek Squad is there when I need them to check or repair my units. Am very pleased with the service. I am a long time user of this service, at least 10 years..

    I won’t buy a high $ product from Best Buy without geek squad protection. It’s peace of mind insurance that if your item fails that Best Buy will take care of it or replace it.

    Do not buy this service or at best buy, period. When you try to return your TV that had a display failure 30 days after purchase, they will send you home woth the non-functioning TV and tell you to call a 1800 # that is unable to schedule your "service" in the next 2 weeks. But you cant return it... good thing i paid for the exended warranty. You can only return a product to the store for 15 days after purchase. They would rather pay a Geek Squad to drive 1 hour plus roynd trip to try and repair a $250 tv rather than exchange it in store and send the tv(still under manufacturers warranty) to repair. Worst customer service I've had from any business in at least a decade. If i could give no starsor a negative star review I would.

    I ended up buying this after the OLED I purchased had an issue within the first week. I made me want the extra protection from Best Buy.

    With every purchase I also a buy a geek squad warranty so when something happens they will come to the rescue when I need help. So far in the last 8 years so far so good.

    I really like there extended warranty you will think don't need until your electronics break and you check that you still have warranty and you just replace it and buy another extended warranty

    I have a Geek squad warranty on my computer and they have saved my day a few times already. Got an extended 5 year warranty today for my new 55 inch Samsung 4K TV so no worries for a while. I like that they would fix it at home due to the size!

    Get the Warranty on Open Box!!!

    I was able to get a 5 year warranty on an open box TV at the time of online purchase which thankfully I did because the in store rep told me this isn't even offered when purchased in store. Great deal for those that know to get it at the time of purchase!

    Smartest thing I could have done, because you never know when something might happen to the TV. You only have a 30 day return policy and then after that it's on you and I don't have the money to just run out and have repairs done to the TV.
