Haven't needed to use for my TV, but have had it for other items where I did and process was surprisingly easy. I always buy Best Buy's extended warranty on larger items for piece of mind.

Their warranty coverage for tv's is the best on the market. It does cost alot more than average. But you get alot more coverage than you would with other companies. If you are worried about burn in on OLED panels or anything like that you should get the extended warranty.

The Protection Plan was explained to me by Best Buy Floor Technician. I find the plan to be most valuable for the price. Better Safe than Sorry! The Protection for valued purchase.

Great if your tv goes out bad if it doesn't lol wish it covered more like if the software becomes buggy over time after updates but sadly it doesn't
