I’ve been shopping for my electronics at Best Buy for longer than I can remember. I love the Geek Squad and I love the protection plans. Unfortunately I’ve had to use the plans over the years and I’ve never been disappointed in the repairs or replacements.

Worth every penny. I had an HDMI port go bad in my LG C1 they came to the house replaced the entire board within 30 minutes and did not cost me anything extra. The service guys were excellent and friendly. Highly recommend when making expensive purchases.

Had ethernet problems with a TV on the 5 year plan. Geek squad couldn't solve issue on the phone. The rep made an appointment for Geek squad to come out and fix it. In the mean time I reset the TV numerous times and it started working, so I canceled the appointment. I'm giving them 5 stars because the rep on the phone was pretty helpful and set me an appointment right away.

In my opinion not all items need a protection plan, but for a tv in my house, needed! Tv's are so light weight and the screens are more sensitive to a cats flying attack of images on screen, the "opps I missed " thrown balls or the backswing in sword play, and of course the accidental discharge of an airsoft gun's bb's. Then for the normal household ,things like surge protection, pixel loss, speaker crackling and now days the "Smart" portions of the tv. So I say yes to tv protection plans.

It pays to add the warranty on your product I will always add it

The all around service i received was great! Best buy is not just a leader in electronics, but they lead in customer service as well.

The agents were knowledgeable and helped me get the tv I wanted even though it was out of stock. The agents ordered it for me and it took less then 3 days.

Best Buy’s Geek Squad is one of the best computer repair services. They offer a variety of services including virus removal, data recovery, and hardware repair. They also offer a 24/7 support hotline for customers who need help outside of normal business hours .

Since the Samsung t.v. collapsed with in the first couple of years, and my t.v. was replaced with a Sony, because of the 5 yr. warranty I bought in the beginning ~~ I bought another 5 yr. warranty for the new Sony.

My picture went out on my TV and the warranty covered a replacement TV. All done the same day. I received a larger television and cash because TV's cost less now.

Great for when you need them. Luckily I have not needed them recently.

Thankfully my old 55" TV had a 5 year warranty. After 4 1/2 years, the board started to go out. It turned out that the TV was not worth the money to repair and they honored my warranty and I was able to get a new TV (60"), and since TV's have come down in price significantly, I was able to get the TV, new 5 year warranty, delivery and set up, and still get $300 back in Best Buy cash.

When i bought the C1 LG OKED tv i knew that ill need a protection plan cover for avoid any future inconvenience. So i bought it. Im not have any problem with the tv buy one never knows. Is a great option and very necessary.

Using for my community gym, the residents absolutely love it. Great picture quality. Would definitely recommend

If you can afford the 5 year Plan on a TV, I highly recommend it. We had purchased a high end SONY a number of years ago. The screen failed approximately 4.5 years into a 5 year contract. Since Best Buy/Geek Squad could not replace the part needed since it was no longer available, we received full reimbursement for the SONY which basically paid for a new TV.

GS agents were patient, efficient, and made me feel confident they knew what I needed to get up and running with my system. My old laptop had 10+ years of family photos, professional files and my financial records. The device was dying a painful death but GS transferred all fills to new device.

Ive always bought protection from Best Buy Geek squad. The swrvice was affordable and prompt when something is needed.
