I bought a Sony TV in 2017 and purchased a 5 year Geek Squad warranty. I thought the Sony TV would last a long time, but I decided to buy the warranty just in case. The TV suddenly quit working in May 2020. Best Buy sent a repairman out to check TV. It could not be repaired. They replaced it with a new TV. So glad I had the 5 year warranty. It's also nice to be able to call Geek Squad when I have any questions.

The TV is put in a box without adequate protection. FedEx damaged the box and the TV inside. I called Best Buy and they gladly replaced the item. However, I had to return the broken one which I told them that I couldn’t do alone since I have back problems and live in a high floor in the middle of NYC. So Best Buy made arrangements for a UPS driver to come to my place and pick up the broken TV. A UPS driver came to pick up the TV and neither bought the labels nor scanned it so now I’m stuck with having to pay for garbage. It’s been 3 days and the UPS system now reads that there was an attempted delivery to bring the labels even though the TV was already picked up. Unbelievable!

My nephew took it out and assembled it with no trouble at all. I bought the warrany for my peace of mind. It was my first time purchasing a tv with these capabilities and wanted to be sure I got good performance from it.

Have not had to use them but I am sure they are great.

It’s best to have protection on the things you buy because you never know what can happen to the things that cost a lot! I love this protection very much and it has helped me a lot aswell

Usually, I never get the extended warranties, but in today's age of electronics, its a sound investment.

The greatest thing about the Geek Squad is that wherever I have used them they have always worked things out. And always there if needed.

The crews are very patient and nice. Though it took some time to get all issue resolved, I am very happy that Geek Squad provide protection to my TV purchase and offered the best outcome

Since the Samsung t.v. collapsed with in the first couple of years, and my t.v. was replaced with a Sony, because of the 5 yr. warranty I bought in the beginning ~~ I bought another 5 yr. warranty for the new Sony.

Geek Squad not able to help as product still under manufacturer warranty, but transfered me directly to samsung to get replacement

I always a good idea to get this protection. Just take the product backband they replace it with no questions asked.

28th Street Grand Rapids store is awesome - they know how to care for customers and really help! I was treated poorly at the Alpine store, really poorly

I haven’t had to use the service yet, and only felt I needed it due to the nature of OLED screens. Hopefully if the time comes I need to use it, there won’t be any additional problems.

Such a great deal! Five years of protection for our new 50" Insignia 4K TV with Amazon Fire HD built-in. We got a very decent price. When you pay $300 for a 50" 4K TV with a streamer and a whopping five year warranty, it is a deal! So using my own personal experience, if a TV lasts five years or more, it's paid for it's self. This warranty is a good deal to cover my cheap TV deal!

I needed this use the warranty for my 65” Oled that had dead pixels. A tech came out and checked. The next day I received a store credit for the price paid for the tv.
