It is great to know that I can have the peace of mind that my item will get fixed if there is a problem. I will also be purchasing the protection for gifts for my parents so they can also have the same piece of mind.

Always a good investment

It always proves to be a good investment when needed. That's because, you can just take it into a Best Buy store and you're speaking directly with a Geek Squad member, not some Customer Service person outside of the United States on the phone.

Must have for any electronic or appliance purchase

Thankfully, we had extended warranty with our credit card company who gave us our full refund to purchase a new TV with a 5 year Geek Squad Protection Plan that we had to use just three weeks after purchase. Highly recommend protection, today, as nothing can be sure to lasts like they once did.

Geek squad never fails

quick pick up from home!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.seeing the horrible quality control of tvs this year, it’s really nice they come out and pick up tv from your house, i’ve been dealing with 20-30 samung tvs this year because of the bad DSE or banding in the screen, so it’s nice i can try getting a tvs and not have to drive 30 mins every week

Flat screen service contract

If sets break repair costs are inevitably high so contract is with it. Had to use mine a month before the 5 year expired and it was honored. Set fixed and good as new. Worth the money.

Best Buy’s protection is a must whenever you prurchased expensive high quality in home items . Protect your purchases better safe than sorry!

Nightmare Customer Experience
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.@BestBuy @BestBuySupport I am going through a nightmare customer service at Geek Squad Scranton 959 Viewmont Dr Dickson City, PA 18519 I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with my recent experience with Best Buy's Geek Squad installation service. I purchased a Samsung 75” Class LS03D The Frame Series QLED 4K TV with Anti-Reflection and Slim Fit Wall Mount Included on August 17th, 2024. I scheduled a Geek Squad appointment for TV setup and mounting on August 23rd. During this appointment, the technicians suggested that I hide all the cables, including those from the TV and soundbar. I agreed and rescheduled for August 28th. To my dismay, the team that arrived on August 28th had no idea how to mount the Frame TV. They suggested using the old mount from my previous TV, which was completely against the purpose of purchasing the Frame TV. The team left without mounting the TV and instructed me to reschedule the installation service. I called Geek Squad and spoke with Andy, who informed me that the system was not updated and that I would need to wait 24 hours before calling back to schedule. I followed their instructions, only to be told the same thing again. After waiting an additional 24 hours and calling Geek Squad again, I was informed that the system still had not been updated and that I would need to wait another 24 hours. As a customer who has been waiting for my TV since August 17th, I am extremely frustrated and disappointed. It is unacceptable that I have to repeatedly call Geek Squad and beg for them to schedule a service that they have already botched. Their lack of efficiency, knowledge, and customer service is truly appalling. I urge Best Buy to take immediate action to address this issue. I expect a resolution that includes a prompt and correct installation of my TV, as well as compensation for the inconvenience and frustration I have experienced. Just to add into the story I spoke to the manager they reach out to me through DM chat when I posted the same concern over social media.. but again told me to wait for another 24 hours telling me they "escalated" just to tell you whenever they tell you they are escalating means they are going to add 24 hours with every escalation but they will not fix your problem just give you another 24 hours. they are flying pigeons to get across internal communication to resolve any issue. run for your life when the representative tell we are escalating Sir.

Geek Squad 5 year warranty for new TV

Hopefully we won’t have to use it but if something fails in the next 5 years we are covered! (As long as it is not a cracked or broken screen). Keep any young children away from the TV screen so this doesn’t happen!

Always purchase a warranty you be happy you did.

So bought a new Samsung tv I love this thing to death always purchase a extended warranty I hope I don’t have to use mine but if I do I know I’ll be covered! :)

Don't think , buy it.

But I got it because the tv was so cheap. It was tcl, of course screen went out after a year. Called best buy came out next day , evaluated tv . Got to pick a replacement and pick it up same day. Could of had it delivered but I am impatient lol. Just get it.
