I had a Samsung 50" 1080p TV that went out and was non-repairable after 15 months. I replaced it with a Samsung 50" 4K TV and decided that it would be good to have a backup plan, so I bought the 5 year Service Policy when I bought the new TV. I didn't want to feel cheated by Samsung again and I know that the Geek Squad and Best Buy will back up the product.

If you buy electronics that are more than 1000 dollars, you should have this protection. I have used it twice and it was easy to get a replacement both times. Figure after a year, the television you had will be outdated and if something happens, you will get something that is comparable.

You can't ever go wrong with the geek squad they get the job done

Best buy and geek squad have the best warranty hands down.

I had a LGC2 go out on me they gave me a gift card for the entire purchase price of the TV. It was fairly simple. This is the first time I've had to use it for that.

Always hard to want to spend the extra on a warranty you may not use. For us though it saved us from having to spend alot to replace our tv when it burned out but still under warranty

I have used them in the past when my computer was hacked into. Hackers really messed up my computer. I appreciated the service Geek Squad did for me. They cleaned it well. Problem was solved...and I got my money back from my Visa Card....The hackers were really stupid--committed fraud BIG TIME!

Always a good idea with hig dollar electronics. I have purchased this with out electronics in the past and it has saved me a lot of stress when the factory warranty ran out. A very good investment got me a couple replacements in the past when the factory warranty expired.

Bought it on a TV for my 6 yr olds room. It died, but at no fault of my child (yeaaa). Took the TV back without receipt. The staff looked it up under my Best Buy card and the credit of the purchase price was applied to any TV I wanted to purchase. Very easy and the staff was great!

I bought this to cover the new TV i got at Best Buy. Have used Geek Sq protection plans before on laptops and that always went well. Decided to buy one for the TV because manufacturers today do not make quality products that will last - called planned obsolescence.
