I am happy I purchased the Protection plan, gives you peace of mind abd there when you need ir most.

I've used Geek Squad twice. The first time they repaired my television on site (my home), the technicians both times brought their own folding tables and cloths to my residence, the second time the parts were no longer available so the technician had Best Buy credit me for a replacement Television. I highly recommend this service. I just bought a 50" bedroom TV (Dec 12, 2023), and guess what I added on as a Just In Case...Geek Squad coverage! My thanks and respect to all of the unsung technicians that Best Buy utilizes to make their warranty incredible.

This is the perfect tv for a small bedroom, the image is great, colors pop, very bright display. Easy to setup and light enough to mount up with no real issues. Best buy made this pickup a breeze. For the prize even including warranty, 10/10.

Love adding the extra protection gives me a pice of mind

They were nice and helpful when my TV screen went black. I tried for hours to reset it by unplugging it and waiting and plugging it back in to the power outlet. Nothing worked.

Great deal and protection for my electronic. Even if you don't use it, the coverage of any unforseen circumstances is worth the price.

I've used Geek Squad before on other purchases and it comes in handy. I just don't like the fact that the TV come with one year warranty, so as soon as you purchase The Geek Squad protection, the protection cards immediately, so I basically only got one year protection. Not not a good idea in my book. It should kick in once my one year warranty is over that came with the TV, so I thought.

Hope I don’t have to use this but it seemed like a great add on for modern electronics.

Purchased for a new Sony TV. Why? My view is the technology has advanced far enough for "fixed location" electronic items, especially TV/Video displays that the manufacturers should include at least 5 year warranty other than accidental damage. They don't. Best Buy through the Geek Squad gives you what manufactures should; extended warranty. Knowing I'm covered for failure of the product and don't have to lug it back to the store is "sleep insurance." Haven't had to use it on the Sony, but a laptop I bought, we south on me under the Geek Squad warranty and the replacement was no hassle. Even got a slightly newer model of the same product (Lenovo) as my model wasn't available. No hassle. I know some have complained about Geek Squad service, but my view is it's a local issue, not one of the program, and I've never had an issue with level of service with my chosen store (I have 3 I can get to in about the same time).

I've had nothing but positive experiences with Geek Squad, particularly with their friendly and informed experts who promptly fix problems and offer outstanding customer service. I'm glad I registered my product for more protection. Happy customer!
