With how complicated tv’s are now I think this extra warranty gives great piece of mind

I have boughten many electronics from Best Buy over the years. However, I would recommend purchasing extended warranty coverage just incase. I did have a couple repairs done in the past. They were very satisfactorily performed with a high degree of professionalism. Be sure to purchase a Geek Squad Protection plan for all troubleshooting, service needs and operational advice.

I always splurge for the 5 year Best Buy Extended Warranty because I sleep better at night knowing that if I have any issue with any of my TV's that are 43 inches and up, which are all of them, that Geek Squad will come out to look at them and take care of any issue other that physical damage caused by neglect etc. Most people are unaware that a one year manufacture warranty means that after the 15,30 or 45th day that one is allowed to return an item for a refund or exchange means that you will be left to deal only with the TV manufacture. I equate that to being on a raft in the middle of the ocean.

I keep my Geek Squad Protection plan as an on going safety net for all of my electronic gear. At age 80, I have no interest in doing this kind of stuff on my own. It is really great to know that these guys are on the ball and know what they are doing, I have had to use the "plan" at least four times a year, and have been consistently by the thoughtful staff who have either over the phone, on line, or in the store have walked me through some technical problem AND solved the problem and gotten me back to work. As a "senior", I really appreciate the skill and courtesy of their staff.

Jayden help me with a problem with an iPhone 14 and he was very nice super helpful explaining everything we needed and gave us all the options regarding the device. I ended up sending the phone back to apple and I got it the very next day and Jayden called me right away to let me know it was there. Definitely best service there!

It is a stress relief to know that the TV is covered for 5 years.

Worth every penny. The Geek Squad folks are great at diagnosing the problem and walking you through fixing it either through online chat or by phone. If you have to take the item in for repair, they offer convenient appointments.

You should have it, especially you purchase OLED TV.

WOW, This was a great buy for the price for this tv,and with the help that we received we picked the perfect tv for the room we put it in. There are no complaints on,color or picture. Sound was fine but with the great service we got the best sound bar witch i will leave a review on it as well.

I always get my best buy products with extra warranty insurance. Have never had any issues with warranty work. Couple of years back I bought a refrigerator and the ice maker was repaired 3 times. After the fourth time the ice maker broke best buy lemoned the refrigerator and worked up the paper work then told me to pick out a new refrigerator with store credit of the original cost of the faulty lemonade refrigerator. Great investment.

I HAVE USED THE GEEK SQUAD A COUPLE OF TIMES AND THEY HAVE ALWAYS HELPED TO FIX WHAT WAS NEEDED.

Bought the protection plan with my TV back in 2017. The picture on the TV started to go with only a couple months left on the protection plan. Contacted GeekSquad and they diagnosed the issue and replaced my TV. I got credited for the TV I bought in 2017 and they waved the delivery and haul away charges, which allowed me to afford to upgrade my TV because all I had to pay was the difference. Highly recommended.

Our first TV has multiple programs; Best Buy told us we could return it and come in and choose a new TV. TV problems was NOT Best Buy fault. Just one of those Lemons you can get from time to time. They sent Jonathan to our Home from the Geek Squad. We were very satisfied with his Service. Very thorough in explaining operation of our new TV. Feeling confident with the operating of our TV was his Top Priority. (They also take back the other TV that had problems). Best Buy is the place to buy any Electronics because of their Sales People and the Geek Squad, they are all very well trained.
